Zinc Supplementation at Night Makes Me Wake Up Humping My Pillow!
Alright, I get a little nervous taking pills on an empty stomach, so I've always taken my zinc (along with magnesium and B6) with my last meal instead of on an empty stomach just before bedtime (I don't want to wake up with an upset stomach, ya know). When I take it with my last meal, I don't get that "restful" sleep that others claim to get when supplementing with zinc and/or magnesium at night. But I do get an unintendend effect: I wake up in the middle of the night humping my pillow out of pure horniness.
Has anyone else had this effect when supplementing with zinc at night?
Recently, I've started taking the zinc, magnesium and B6 on an empty stomach. When I do this, I DO sleep deeper, AND I don't wake up in the middle of the night all horned up. Which makes me wonder if the zinc is better absorbed with a meal (which is why I wake up horny), and the magnesium is better absorbed on an empty stomach (which is why I sleep deeper).
Any thoughts?
Any other pillow humpers out there?
