All:
I am copying this from my Bodyspace. I figured that I would start a thread here to encourage comments on my progress. I also, as always, open to and appreciative of all constructive advice.
Up until about a month and a half ago, I felt that I was meeting many of my weight-lifting goals. I had always worked out near daily, almost compulsively. Then, abruptly, at that point, I just stopped. I became very lethargic and lack motivation. In any case, this lasted for about a month and a half. Despite a terrible diet and a lack of physical exercise, I have maintained some size, but lost most definition. My goal now is to add mass. I want to come close to regaining my previous definition but I am more focused on size currently rather than regaining cut form.
I got back to the gym this morning. Here was my routine.
Thursday, February 19, 2009
I consumed one teaspoon of Creatine.
Bench (135): 8, (185) 6, 3, 2 (155) 5, 4, 3
Barbell Rows: (115) 10, (145) 7, 6 (135) 6, 6, 6
Deadlifts: (115) 8, 8, 8, 8
Leg Press: (270) 5 (380) 10, 10, 10, 10
Dips: 10, 6, 3, 3, 2
Despite being highly motivated to be in the gym, I was feeling lethargic throughout the workout. I contribute this to my sub-par diet over the past month in a half. I can not wait to start feeling like I used to!
Post workout, I had a small Almond Mocha High Protein Smoothie from Smoothie King. I am about to take another teaspoon of Creatine.
Thanks!
