Thanks! I forgot how short deload workouts were on this program!
Checked out your site. Nice! Also nice to see someone after me in the alphabet. May put my 17 year old daughter in touch with you, she may heed your advice better than Dad's.

Thanks! I've been neglecting it with the holidays and need to get back at it. :o And absolutely! I know how that goes - my sons won't listen to mom but will listen to anyone else.
I have been all over the alphabet - P, A, and now Z! :D
Thanks for doing cardio for me, Erin...I appreciate it :)

Kind of wanted to run, but we have TKD tonight. I've learned not to push my luck on TKD nights.
How'd the RDL'S feel, Erin?

They closed last night due to weather, so it was PACKED tonight. Decent workout, which is surprising.

Low, but I wasn't overly hungry and opted to not force myself to eat.

The feel great. Because they don't go to the floor, it's easy to keep my back straight and they really hit my hammies.

My thoughts have always been, when cutting if you just don't feel like eating, then your body is probably telling you not to and no reason to force it down.

I'm trying to work on intuitive eating, which is paying close attention to your body when eating. I know for a fact that I overeat when I'm just eating mindlessly. I was a little hungry when I went to bed, but decided I wasn't hungry enough to eat anything. I felt fine this morning, too, so clearly it was OK.

45-ish minutes on the treadmill
Not sure exactly how long I was. Mileage was roughly 2.5 miles. I had to pause it partway through and it didn't save it when I got back. I know I did about 28 minutes and 1.9 miles when I came back. I either did 10 or 15 before that, and about .75 - .9 miles. Was alternating running and walking for most of it - 5 min run, 1.5 min walk.

A lot of stupid calories in dinner. My husband refuses to cook healthy. I had turned down an unhealthy suggestion when I went downstairs, and saw that he had pulled out chicken breasts. I assumed he had taken the hint, only to come back up to pasta and a butter based sauce, all served up. I'm either going to have to be a little more forceful, or just stop eating what he cooks. That option kind of sucks because I am usually pressed for time and he isn't. Regardless, still came in under. Hopefully the pasta won't make me crave more food later.
Running for 5 mins in a row would be an accomplishment for me :o
Good Work Erin! Boo Bill!

lol, thanks! Honestly, I was impressed I could do 5 minutes. Of course, it was only at 4 mph. I'm trying to get endurance up at a slow speed, then I'll worry about getting faster. :)

I think it is great he cooks but hopefully he will see what you are trying to accomplish and get on board with healthier meals for you Erin. My husband can't even boil water for tea. :)
Proud of you and your determination. Keep up the good work Erin ;)

I wasn't thinking anything was happening, but too measurements today. I lost 1 lb, 1" on my waist, 1" on my chest, and 1" of thighs. Not bad!

He is the chef. When I cook, even my kids groan. :) I think he's getting the idea. I told him that he at least needs to give me a heads up when he's cooking something high cal so I can adjust what I eat during the day. If he waits until he's making it, I can't do anything about what I've already eaten.
And thanks! :)

Yesterday and today are huge wins for me. I've always done pretty good staying on track during the week, but the weekends have been tough. I've trying to be mindful when I am eating and it's working for me. We even had pizza Thursday night and I was able to stick to my calorie goal.
The scale is starting to move, too. All in all, I'm happy with the direction things are going right now.
OK, I mentioned in here that got the BodyMedia. ID asked me in the regular OV35 if I was logging my results in here and it seemed like a good idea. So, here's my impressions so far.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my daily burn was higher than I thought it was. I honestly thought I was burning around 2000 - 2100 calories. Maybe 2200 on TKD nights. Turns out my burn is 2000 on non-workout, non-cardio, non-TKD work days. Translated, I sit on my ass all day other than to walk to the bathroom or the kitchen.
I am between 2400 - 2600 per day, depending on the night. And this was a relatively inactive week for me. The weather has had some of my night time activities (Boy Scouts, specifically) and I've been stressed at work, so more inactive at night. And it's winter. I rarely sit in summer.
I've found that I'm more conscious of how hard I'm working, and what I'm going to do. I would skip cardio in a heartbeat before. Since getting this, I haven't missed a session. I've also been able to scale back my eating on the days that I am resting. I've maintained a 500 - 1000 calorie deficit every day since starting.
Results so far, 2 lbs loss since I've started. And honestly, that's a little low since I am pre-menstrual (sorry guys, TMI, I know) and tend to hold on to water until I actually get my period.
So far, I'd say this was a great purchase. I'm an analyst by nature, so having some real data to look at rather than just a calculation I did is awesome.
How much did the whole system cost you?
Weighed in this morning at 164.5. That makes 4 pounds in 2 weeks. I'm happy with that!

I did a few laps through the office park while Kevin was at TKD. It was fuking freezing out there!!!!! It was 25 when I started and when the sun started to go down, the temp dropped fast. I stopped when I did because it was getting dark and work was getting out, so there was a lot of traffic, but the truth is I'm not sure how much longer I could have gone. My thighs were frozen and my left calf was tight as hell. All in all, though, it was a good run and it felt good to be outside instead of on the treadmill.
