I'm just curious if anyone here in the older crowd has used one of these new fangal contraptions, look here, www.powerplate.com/us/index.aspx
I understand this is going to be a new piece of equipment hitting the gyms across the USA.

You have to start at the top of the web site, https://us.powerplate.com/
I thought the whole vibration thing has pretty much been discredited more than once, w. the exception of rehab for some patients, and therapy for bruised muscles etc. Keeps coming back in new versions though, just like vibrating beds, chairs...

I think you understand incorrectly.

I certainly hope you are correct, although maybe I could strap my PWO shake to it to keep it mixed while I workout?
You could duct tape a workout chair on it and get a real full body workout.
I'm not familiar with it and didn't take the time to get familiar. When I saw the word "vibrate" I thought of those miracle abb belts and stopped reading.
OK the web site is www.powerplate.com
They claim a large number of Pro football players are using them to increase range of motion and help relieve sore muscles and joints.
Probably BS.
I call shenanigans!

I was actually going to ask if it came with a harness and attachments, but I did not think it would be appropriate

Jiggle your way to fitness.
Add an ab lounger and Get Big Guns and you're on your way.
Where, I don't know. :p
Now if it only also provided tiny electrical shocks to your muscles at the same time... lol

One of the things I wish I had known as a teenager - that warm-up and stretching truly is vital to a memorable workout....
That just looks like space age version of those late 60's\early 70's fat jigglers!
Lol!!!
