all very temporary water reduction. you probably won't even notice it unless your bf% is very low.

Please explain what you do with those things(I know that prep h is a local diurectic)
Here's an other way to reduce water for a competion.
2 weeks before a competion you eat alot of salt(put LOTS of salt on all your food)You will look realy bloated and 2-3 before yoyr comp. completly stop eating salt(sodium).
This works almost as well as using lasix without the side effects.
But you have to be shreded for it to work

Guy, I have read about that, but since I don't compete, I haven't tried it. I may at the end of my current cutting cycle just to learn how my body reacts a little better (for if/when I do decide to compete).
The salt reduction thing works with potassium though (from what I've read). You cut your sodium, raise your potassium and hopefully shed alot of the water your body holds. Although, I don't know if it would be as effective as lasix (but definitely safter).
as mentioned, prep-h and saran wrap are used to remove excess water weight. No one really does this unless they are preparing for a competition. With that being said, it still really isnt used that much unless there is a problem. People will rub their stomach up with the prep-h gel (Gel -- not creme) and then wrap their stomach with the saran wrap. This is to make a tight seal as well as avoid the gel rubbing all over your sheets while you sleep. As far as tanning goes, some people think that it helps tighten up the skin and is usually advised when competeing anyway. As far as using prep-h INSIDE a tan bed....um, dont think that would help...you'd have a nice tan line though :)
wow... no posts since 2002 and you can still post to it.
