are dumbell rows an effective exercise for building biceps? I do 3 sets of dumbell rows then one set of biceps curls once per week. I train with high intensity.

Dumbell rows are an effective exercise for building back. Why not do some more biceps exercises?
dumbbell rows wont directly work your biceps if your doing them right.
No.
So more biceps exercises it is. Thanks.

LOL. Reps!!!
lots of powerlifters dont bother with any direct bicep work, and their arms are usually pretty big :)
you're not going to get bulging biceps unless you train them directly, but curls wont do a thing for your overall strength.
Close grip chins on arm or back day?

WOW.....Don't strain yourself. No will ever accuse you of over training.
