Australia Customs [NEW]
Alright guys, the last thread was deleted and a few members were banned for naughty naughty behavior.
Lets keep this clean and just about what LEGAL products/supplements you have successfully imported into Australia from BB.com and so on.
Also make sure that the products discussed are legal in the US.
This can be an excellent resource, so please don't abuse it.
Please list products that have at least been inspected and allowed or seized.
I'll get the ball rolling:

If you're ordering from bb.com ALWAYS select Fed-Ex for shipping. It's cheaper for larger orders, you get tracking number for peace of mind and orders are received within 4-6 days :)

Thanks Valenzuelatech for keeping this alive :)

ICE Arctic Lemon Freeze is awesome. Very refreshing. Lighter and less overpowering than other lemon flavours I have tried. Also holds up under a wide range of temperatures and dilutions which makes it stand out from any other amino supp I have tried. Didn't like grape so much but then I am not a fan of grape flavour stuff.
No probs helping out. This thread is beneficial to me so it is in my best interests to help out.
Really curious to see if anyone gets Omega Sports Ultima and / or XF Vengeance in. Do want

Yeah, Xtend Lemon is a little gross.... Watermelon on the other hand is delicious, and Apple isn't bad.
I'd love to see Myofusion of XF Ultra Peptide get through...

Got in:
- Protein factory's Super Plasma Protein
Seized:
- Some protein powder (not allowed to have more then 10% egg in it)

Can u please provide documentation proving this statement, as me and a few others have ordered products that can last over 3months at recommended serving protocol.
From experience and from others going FEDEX is a bad choice. They have there own "inspection" which can delay your order.
Id like to know where you go that 3 month rule from thanks.
Can I get more than a 3 month supply at a time?
If you need a larger quantity than specified above, your doctor will need to apply to the Special Access Scheme (02 6232 8111) for an exemption under Section 19 of the Therapeutic Goods Act for the importation of unapproved goods.
Can I bring protein powders to Australia?
Protein powders may be permitted entry into Australia for personal consumption without the requirement for an import permit provided the product is labelled with the individual ingredients including percentages of each ingredient adding up to 100 per cent . Alternatively the consignments may be accompanied by a manufacturer’s declaration listing the individual ingredients adding up to 100 per cent . Each of these ingredients must meet AQIS import conditions. It is the importer’s responsibility to provide sufficient documentation to satisfy AQIS that the product in each consignment is as stated.
Protein powders containing dairy derived ingredients such as Whey, Isolate and/or Caseinates must be labelled as ‘originating from’ and 'Manufactured in' one of the countries listed by the World Organization for Animal Health (formerly known as the Office International des Epizooties [OIE]) as free from foot and mouth disease (FMD) with or without vaccination. This information can be found on the OIE website. If the labelling of powder does not specify the country of origin and manufacture, or includes the phrase ‘made from local and imported ingredients’, a manufacturer's declaration will be required certifying that the milk component is sourced from an FMD-free country.
Protein powders containing egg will need to be labelled as containing less than 10 per cent egg to be exempt from requiring an import permit. There must also be no discernable pieces of egg in the product. If the labelling of the powder does not specify the egg content a manufacturer's declaration certifying that the egg component is less than 10 per cent (by dry weight) is required. Products with more than 10 per cent egg content and/or containing discernable pieces of egg require an import permit.
Protein powders containing animal derived ingredients such as enzymes eg. pancreatin, trypsin, rennet and insulin and bovine serum albumin have an associated quarantine risk and may require an import permit.
Highly processed substances that are listed as pharmaceutical excipients on the ICON database are not regarded as a quarantine risk in these products.
Import conditions can be accessed via the AQIS Imports Condition database (ICON). This database lists the Quarantine conditions under which various commodities may be imported into Australia.
Note: A non-commercial consignment is considered to be an item that is imported for non-commercial (personal) use in quantities of no more than 10 kilograms or 10 litres of the one type of item.
Anyone had this inspected and allowed more than once?
The active ingredient is a DHEA derivative, so it's somewhat doubtful as to whether the 'allowed' were fully legit or not.
And BB.com rejects orders made by Aust customers which casts doubts, isn't this still the case that BB will not allow this to be ordered?
-
Just wondering if we are allowed to sell/trade products anymore - I have some 11-sterone that I would like to sell (this product is legal in Aus).
Cheers guys

I've got a few mates that've had Muscle Milk in numerous times too, no issues even when it was inspected. Too bad I don't drink the stuff - I'd say they're just quite specific about the protein they allow through but not specific about what they TELL us will get through. I'm sure they have a side to them that wishes to 'force' us to buy locally to support the economy.
