Awesome leg session! :)
The wait until March is a pain! That's a terrible statement to dish out! Makes my blood boil  You haven't anything to go on until all the tests are done and ANALyzed. Hoping for good news to come, in the meantime continue the fight at the gym and don't let the bosu ball bully get to you lol
That is one very happy and spoilt puss ..until that Dr shows up.
We used to go to a Doctor who fancied himself as a comedian, he had a line for everything!! He was good too. The kids thought he was wonderful! Hubby enjoyed the humor.
Then one day he goes in to get the snip, WEEEEELLL ..he wasn't so funny then LOL But I managed a quiet snicker or two in the dark recesses of my sick little mind >: ]
I need to vent, will update tomorrow;
Some stooopid bugger interrupted my training today while I was deadlifting 405 (yes, I got there tonight :) ).
"Other people" apparantly need to use the squat rack too despite there were 2 others (although occupied, 1 of them by a bosu ball *******).
He decided it was a wise idea to approach the only guy with any real weight on the bar and tried to hustle me out.
LOL
"When you can lift this, you can tell me how to train, son."- moi
"Furthermore, did you know it is a capital offence to interrupt my training on every known level of hell?"
-I then twitched like a crazy mo' fo' and smiled.
If my heart is bad....I'm gonna take his.
While its still beating.
and eat it.
Glandulars FTMW.
I am too old and too phucking big to put up with this infantile sh*t.
My #1 rule.
DO NOT PHUCK WITH MY TRAINING
I will unleash the hounds of hell on ur azz.
/endrant
We will back to my normal state of epicness tomorrow. :p
Morning Brian! People are so stupid at the gym sometimes. I can't believe the dummy bothered you while you were deadlifting that heavy -- yay for 405, by the way. :-) I had a lady do that to me on the leg press one time. I had about 500lbs on it and was working my way up to 6-something. I told her she was welcome to work in. :D Yes, I was being a smartass. She said no rather meanly and sat there and watched me the entire time. I did two extra sets just because she was getting on my nerves. :p Just like your situation, there was a guy right beside me on one with two 45s on each side, but she didn't stalk him. There should be a sign on the door, "No doofus butts allowed." :D
Happy Friday!!

I should would have pointed to my earphones and said "sorry, can't hear you over my music, but I think you said 'I'm not going to bother you while deadlifting heavy ass weight.'"
Wow Brian, sorry I'm late in hearing and responding to this news. Here's how I see it. If it were a truly serious, life threatening condition you would have been wheeled into surgery the day your condition was discovered.
I have my own issues I deal with - PVC arrhythmia, which I've been living with my whole life.
I'm hoping for the best for you mate!
F.S.U.U
Deads help my squat.
Shrugs give me trap cushions to put the bar on when I squat and do good mornings.
Good mornings benefit both my squat and dead, plus getz my erectorz hyooge.
That’s the method to my madness.
Back, Traps
Deads
20x45(bar), 10x135, 6x225
1x315
1x405, 1x405, 1x405
*and set#2 necessitated my conversation with a “civilian”*
Behind the back braced Bb Shrug
8x405, 10x405, 10x405, 6x405-both my straps and grip failed here
Good A.M’s
10x225, 10x225
6x245
10x275
Goal met, 405 dead achieved.
Goal met, back to shrugging 405 for sets.
Expectations surpassed with good mornings. I might see 405 again for these too.
I fukkin’ amaze myself.
If it wasn’t for bb.com I’d think I was unique.
-
Strong return to deadlifting in only a few week = nice work on the 4 plates pulls and then on shrugging them for high reps
Strong GMs as well --- 275 is beasting it!
Lower back strength is catching up to the legs!
-
Nice work on attaining the goals during that workout; on to the next one...

Back width
F.S.U.U
My “back thickness” muscles are fried which forces me to develop a good mind-muscle connection with my “back width” muscles.
Focus on isolating those muscles as the rest are shot with DOMS from the day before.
I pre-exhausted the phuck out of it before hitting the numero uno back width builder for me, chins.
Kneeling narrow reverse grip Pulldown
20x72.5
3x20x97.5(stack)
Assisted Chins
3x10x-120
“Cobras!”
4x10x150(stack/per side)
1 arm supinated Pulldown
8x80, 6x100
Chins
3, 1, 1
15 min. Stationary bike

10x90
4x140, 6x140, 6x140, 1x180

Overhead cable extensions

Arms, Abs
F.S.U.U
Biceps and forearms are my weak points.
I’m experimenting training bi’s heavy one session, lighter the next, and hitting them twice/week.
I pick the “rolldowns” for tri’s as they are one of the few exercises that hits the long head of the tricep and I have hit the other 2 heads enough this week.
BB Curls
20x45(bar), 8x95, 2x145
BB Curl/standing cable Curl
1x155/12x150(stack)
Standing cable Curl
2x12x150(stack)
Hammer Strength Preacher Curl, PWO
6x90, 6x100,
2x115
2fail@3x115
Tricep cable “Rolldown”
25x80, 20x100, 15x120
3x8x150(stack)
Seated DB wrist curl
15x40
3x6x60
DB Hammer Curl
8x40, 8x45
Lying leg raise
20, 10, 10
“knee ups”
3x10
MIT cardio
10 min. Recumbant bike
-
Your arms and forearms look plenty big in your avi and that is a very solid arm session --- strong curling with the 145 and 155 BB and then curling the stack on the cable machine. Nice heavy volume on the incline chest as well
Great work AA. No update on the 'heart' front?
-
Beastly as always. GL on the cardio.

They look big but they aren't compared the rest of me.
I will agree with the judge on this, I need bigger arms, in particular, biceps.
I forgot to mention that...check @ the bottom of this post so everybody can catch it.
Thank-you.

Thanks C.
I have 2 tests early next week and won't have the results until early March.
I have convinced myself I don't have heart issues, somewhere during my training I should have keeled over by now and that hasn't happened. (I tried, to no avail. :p)

I don't think this is coincidence at all.-srs
Operation "Flammenwerfer" turned out to encompass more than I bargained for but fit perfectly.
Some times, in order to fix what is wrong you must destroy all you have built and start new.
I learned to train and work hard long before I learned how to eat properly.
So I quit EVERYTHING.
and went to looking like sh*t real fast.
Then I quit eating "dirty" and ate "clean", no training either.
Then I started to count my macros, no training either.
Then I combined the three and got my azz to the gym.
and there was no sense in posting here until I walked the talk. ;)
4 training sessions in 4 days tells me I found my motivation once again but 1st I had to learn to burn the past to the ground.
Friday I had a Dr.'s appointment over many things I had let build up.
The least of my concerns should have been my primary concern but I am in the prime of my life and invincible...
Long story short, the specialist believes I may have a genetic heart condition and tells me I am a "walking time bomb".
Those of you who know my writing style know I don't put stuff in bold very often.
I avoided diabetes, I am no longer obese, and have avoided the plethora of other medical conditions that run in my family because I have trained for so long.
But now this?
NUTS!
This is where forum members like Corbi, theMyth, and StreesMonkey come in handy...bad stuff happened to all of them and they persevered.
I am not going to lie
I am a little afraid.
I JUST got my sh*t together.
I have gyms to plunder, women to ravish, and creatine to snort.
I am not ready to change my username to
TheAngelofDeath'73.
I don't think I'm going to tell my mother anything about this...until I gotz proof...and even then...why?
(could use some advices on this folks?) :)
The ironic part is 2 years ago or so I was ready to kill myself.
I do not want "eternal peace".
Now, anyways.
I just want to go on fukking sh*t up in the gym and fixing sh*t up with kids/teens.
B when do you find out about these tests?
wait and see what they say first ok? your body is strong..try not to panic yet
and you are right Corbi and John both had work done and are still kicking azz..
what do ya mean march??what the f*ck...you got shortness of breath and your heart is beating irregular?
