Fat on my ass

Hey guys, weird question. I used to be 230 and lost 65lbs about 1.5 years ago. Right now I am 170-175ish and about 6'1-6'2 tall. I just started lifting pretty routinely. Last year about this time I was just doing mad cardio because I had a slight image problem/eating disorder. I got rail thin, though I did have abs lol, but I got over that. Right now I am putting on some muscle and still have a decent 6 pack but I still have fat on my ass. I did when I was doing crazy cardio and I do now. I am assuming its from when I was fat. The only places on my body with fat is a slight tire on my stomach and my ass. It's bothering the hell out of me.

How can I get rid of the fat on my ass? Dieting didn't kill it, neither did extreme cardio...

work your glutes...muscle burns fat (so i've heard). I used to have a fat ass up until i dropped below 12 % bf and now it's all skin and bones...kinda lost it all of a sudden, so just keep losing fat and it'll eventually come off.

Still though, I always here girls say that they prefer guys with a "cute butt", though I have no idea what that's supposed to mean from their point of view.

Lol wrong. I think that's your obsession. Girls like meat back there. I've always had them grabbing on mine...pfft. No one wants a flat butt...it's lame. No shape what so ever is what women like? LOL!

As a female I can throw my opinion in here and say that, yes, in my experience women do like some meat on a guys arse. I don't know any girls who really like their men to have no arse at all.

i say trial and error dude. I kind of have the same issue so i plan to rock out the glutes in an every other day exercise routine to see if anything changes with me. Do the same, it can be a friendly race haha :)

I wonder if lunges and 'chair work' would help you like it helps most of the girls I work out with??

The chair work is where you put your foot on the chair and just stand up and then go back down...

HIT THAT FUKCER! trust me i do it and i get the "nice ass" like no1's business i swear. and thats no ego at all. i dont care for my ass but ever since i do that machine... that machine is my friday/saturday morning workout :D

squats helped gimme those ass dimples... do em and stop the whining buddy i went from 250 to 168 and then up to 195
unhealthy!!!! too :( we all have our horror stories but we mend them and learn and benefit from them.

Unfortunatly you can't really spot streat area's, thats mostly genetic where your body starts to store and lose fat. I can't tell you how many clients I've had who tell me they "just" want to lose weight in their arms and their ass. The only really way to do is via what you eat and how much.
HOWEVER, I'm sure you have heard of the law of thermodynamics: energy is changed into the form heat, right? So when your working out your butt and it starts to get hot (go ahead and feel when no one is looking), you know that your energy (fat) is "burning" into heat energy. good luck
