I'm glad to see others on this board that love the Lord! Would any of you be interested if I were to create a website with Christian training forums? I've been searching the net for something like that and couldn't find any active forums for Christian lifters so thought I'd get the ball rollin' if there were some other people that are excited about it.

The Ultimate Body set to feature Florida Fitness Center locations
A new reality television series is currently in development by LYONS Entertainment, producers, in association with Hog Heaven Productions, of the syndicated television series ―Hog Heaven.‖
Television Production Company, LYONS Entertainment is in Development for a New Reality Show The Ultimate Body Celebration, FL, August 11, 2009 LYONS Entertainment, the television production company behind the syndicated television series Hog Heaven (now in its fourth season) is currently in development on a new reality television series called The Ultimate Body. This bodybuilding competition reality show is inspired by Creator and Executive Producer David Lyons?s own challenges and triumphs as the first competitive bodybuilder with Multiple Sclerosis to enter a NPC level 5 contest where he recently won THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL BODYBUILDER trophy at the 2009 Florida State Bodybuilding Championships on August 22.
The Ultimate Body is a compelling dog-eat-dog competition drama which takes 26 ordinary men and women and pairs them to train for 10 weeks to compete in the ―Ultimate‖ bodybuilding contest. As the competition unfolds contestants are closely supervised by four personal trainers, a world reknowned chiropractor and sports medicine MD who help each pair survive grueling and extreme training routines combined with rigid dieting necessary to achieve ―The Ultimate Body.‖ Unexpected temptations, shocking alliances and severe challenges toughen up the competition for contestants who must eliminate a pair of training partners each week. When the dust settles it?s every man (and woman) for himself. As the culmination of this groundbreaking fitness themed reality television series, six men fight on stage for the best male body and six women pose off for the best female body as three celebrity judges decide who will ultimately win their title and walk away with winners? trophies, trips, a spread in a major fitness magazine, nutritional company endorsements and $50,000 in prize money.
A major sponsor for LYONS Entertainment's new reality television series The Ultimate Body is the Anytime Fitness chain, and The Ultimate Body television series will be filmed at several of their franchise locations in Florida. Other companies who have signed on as sponsors include Mystic Tan and Gaspari Nutrition. Gaspari Nutrition is on board to provide the $50,000 prize to one of the winners, as well as providing bodybuilding and nutritional supplements to contestants of this competitive reality series and Anytime Fitness is providing the other $50,000 prize. Gaspari Nutrition owner and former IFBB Pro Champion bodybuilder, Rich Gaspari, will be one of the 3 guest judges on the show. As will be Marzia Prince IFBB Bikini Pro and Doug Burns Natural Mr Universe. The show will be hosted by IFBB Pro Bodybuilder BIG Bob Cicherillo Mr USA/Mr World, voice of Bodybuilding.com and emcee of the Mr Olympia.
The show has already been featured on live radio and is the buzz of Hollywood.
Casting calls to find the show?s 26 competitors are scheduled for Saturday, Oct 17th 11 am -6 pm at the Ramada Orlando Celebration Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, FL. If you think you have what it takes to make it through this grueling on-air competition to be crowned ―The Ultimate Body‖ log onto theultimatebodytvshow.com, go to the Contestant Application page and follow the directions or contact LYONS Entertainment at 407-346-1241 for casting information.
It's awesome to know there are fellow Christians onboard =]

hi, I have been overweight most of my life and when I turned 20 God turned my life around, I took the book and read it in one year and also started working out as I did, I lost about 50lbs, im a 5'5 guy i am now currently around 185 but im still looking to lose more weight i want to get down to 150lb-160lb. its been about 7-8 years now, I've had a few set backs I did BJJ for about 2 years but I just recently stopped because I have a stressful job, and my energy is drained when I get home, I usally run every day- 3 miles usually somtimes 4.5 miles. I
I tore my ACL about 2 years ago which kinda hindered me a little bit, so I gained some weight back. Any advice to lose more weight? I stopped taking a lot of my supplements because I just was taking to many things, I am no working on getting enough sleep and without worry about BJJ anymore I can workout before work and as soon as I get home from work. I tried to be in bed by 7pm- wake up around 230am , hit the gym get to work by 6am- get home by 3pm and do my running. I did p90x for a while it did help me but I reached my peak around 183, cant get passed that for some reason.
Wow, it is really cool to see a thread with Christians that are committed to fitness and bodybuilding.
Some what new to the site / posting. Is there a thread dedicated specifically to Christian Motivation? Like some of the other other threads with inspirational quotes and pictures?
Thanks,

Wondering if I can be a part of this as well.
Lots of negativity throughout the forum.

i agree that would be really cool
Hey guys, I have read a lot of encouragement from within this thread so I figured I'd give you guys a shout. I'm a new found christian who started up developing not only my faith but also my body. It'd be great to get to know as many christians out there who are willing to support each other not only spiritually but also in development. Give me a shout for any tips and advice you guys may have for new lifters. Add me as well if you like (I'm not used to forums or this sort of thing so I'm hoping my nettiquette is proper for this situation).
Thanks everyone and keep up what youve been doing
What's up fellow Christians, I'm new here! Looking forward to interacting with you all, talk to you later.
Well, howdy. Looks like this was a good thread for me to stumble upon. What's up, fellow believers?
Great read helps men with rites of passage needed by so many
welcome,
last night I was able to do prison ministry with a group of men. We are going through John Eldredge's Wild at Heart. It is inspiring that the men can be so positive when in such a controlled environment.
They only make 11 to 25 cents an hour in the jobs they do. If they can get a gate release to work outside the prison they can make 48 cents an hour. That has to be depressing to work all week and make at most $20 to send home to your wife.
The world, the devil and self continually attack us. With the armor of God we can be ready to meet temptations and be victorious.
Stay strong, men and meet the challenges of today.
Peace, Rich
hey there guys, I see this is a Christian thread. Well, I'm not sure if I could call myself a Christian since I don't belong to any churches but I strongly believe in Christ and in morality and I can really relate to most Christians since they're conservative like me. anyone feel free add or talk to me.
