25 yr old male who has High metabolism
I am getting ready to start a weight lifting program, to a) increase my strength and b) get my self back in shape.
I am 5'11, 145 lbs, and high metabolism...and want to put some mass on. I have been told to a) increase my protein intake b) increase my calories and c) eat 5 small meals a day.
Is this the right approach to take? Any suggestions on cheap / everyday foods that I can incorporate into my diet? I am eating chicken pretty much every night for dinner.
I would like to be 160-170lb. I've weighed 145 since high school, and it is because of my makeup. I can go eat a whole steak at Outback, and not put anything on =(
