An hour after.

Many diff variables here. How much did you eat, how heavy a workout?
An hour dosen't seem quite enough...
Especially on leg day..If i eat even 2 hours before ill puke.

You know, I see this all the time and don't get it. Is it just cool to say that you squat so much that you puke? Would me squatting so much that I **** my pants be an agreeable substitute?
i train 1.5-2 hours after i eat.
I also puke on leg day, if i eat or drink anything 30 minutes before, ex. whey (except water) maybe I just have problems with breathing or not drinking enough water, i don't know.
I would get a bad workout in, probably not even be able to complete it cause of working out before I eat, I'd have no energy. Depends how much I ate but it's usually an hour & 1/2 to 2 hours and im ready to go. I'm not feeling full but have some good energy to lift.
My main concern is having some energy in my system while working out (i.e. eat 1.5-2.5 hours beforehand, with protein) and taking in some fast carbs and protein immediately after the workout. A couple hours after the workout, I often add a small meal to get a bit more protein into my body. I think working out while hungry or not eating after working out short-circuits the effectiveness of training.
Strong seven-and-a-half year bump!
I workout usually 2 hours after I eat and always have a shake afterwards.
In between.
down a six pack of red bull then you should go workout.
depends on what it is that you eat... Since i workout in the morning, I drink a shake once i wake up then 40 min later i take my N.O. Supplement and drive to the gym.. so pretty much that is an hour before i actually hit the weights
why would you reply to an old thread like this, just start a new one, i was in 7th grade when this was posted
