Assuming your PWO shake includes a high GI carb, then I don't see why there would be a huge problem. If you aren't getting any carbs with your PWO shake, you want to look into getting some! I'm actually visiting the boards looking for the best source of high GI carb.
Rice, white 55
^^ That puts white rice in the mid-GI range. If it's you're only source of PWO carb then you should give it a miss. How soon after your PWO shake are you eating it btw?
(I'm no expert, but I've been reading about this for the last 10 minutes and as no one has replied, I thought I'd share it with you.)
Thanks for your reply. Any other ideas?

what idoes ur PWO shake/meal involve right after the gym
i woulndt suggest it in ur 1-2 hour meal after ur PWO shake.. i would ahve it with a whey shake immediately after ur workout.. the best time to get high GI carbs in ur system.. so feast up on some white rice and slam a protein shake right when u get back from the gym
then 1-2 hours later have a complex carb meal with a good protein source..
try to aim for 2:1 ratio of protein in carbs in ur PWO shake/meal
and then ur PPWo meal 1-2 horus later

ignore the rice post workout and throw in some honey in your shake and your good to go. Then just have a solid meal 1-2 hours later with some complex carbs and protein of course!
