Can you "cut" for too long?
I have been on a cutting diet and untill now have been very happy with the results. About into my 11 week on my cutting diet, I all of a sudden felt weaker and maybe overtrained. I had lost 20 pounds during my cutting cycle and had kept all my strength but still have like 15 pounds to go. Do the same rules apply cutting as in bulking as far as taking a few days off to recover every 10 to 12 weeks? My routine is like this:
Day 1 --- weights 30-40 min, cardio 30 min
day 2 --- weights 30-40 min, cardio 30 min
day 3 ---- Cardio 30 min.
day 4 ---- Weights 30-40 min, cardio 30 min
day 5 ---- Weights 30 min, cardio 30 min
day 6 ---- Rest
Of course i do different muscle groups everyday.
