I've been experiencing numbness in my pinky finger for about a week now.

One day my elbow started feeling weird.. like a pinched nerve or something.. not sure how to describe it.. but since then i've been experiencing on a constant basis numbness in the tip of my right pinky finger.. and slight numbness in the finger right next to that in the tip as well.. (comes and goes)

wondering if anyone has any idea what the hell is wrong.. lol its seriously driving me nuts..

but being in the military saying 'im having numbness in two fingers' isnt enough to warrant going to see a doctor (or someone who might have a clue) and I get told to suck it up.

Sounds like an entrapment issue with the ulnar nerve which runs down to the little finger. Ulnar nerve entrapment can give symptoms of " falling asleep " in the ring finger and little finger, especially when the elbow is bent. There may be an aching pain on the inside of the elbow, which seems to be another complaint of yours. You WILL have to take a few weeks of weight training and you simply have to reduce the amount you bend that elbow. Follow this course of action:

Avoid frequent use of the arm with the elbow bent

If you use a computer frequently, make sure that your chair is not too low. Do not rest the elbow on the armrest.

Avoid leaning on the elbow or putting pressure on the inside of the arm
For example, do not drive with the arm resting on the open window.

Keep the elbow straight at night when you are sleeping. This can be done by wrapping a towel around the straight elbow, wearing an elbow pad backwards, or using a special brace.
