even if it wasnt true, it should be classed as an accepted truth just to convince me to train their legs anyway instead of being all torso and stick legs.

This is to everyone. What if you've done harcore leg workouts (squats etc.) for football for the last 4-5 years, and you just need a break...would it hurt to go all upper body for a month or 2 then maybe jump back in..?
is it true that if you dont work out your legs your upper body wont grow as fast? i made the mistake of not working my legs that much (once a month) for 2 years! i feel really bad if this is true...
Probably not (even though everyone says it). Why wouldn't you want to work out legs even it this isn't the case though?

Lactate and hormones aside, the body can only metabolize amino acids so fast, and if there is competition between different muscles needing them for repairs, could recovering from a leg workout hypothetically hamper recovering and getting stronger from your arm wrorkout?

Strong 6 year bump.
And no, it's won't hurt you to do only upper body for a month or two. Go crazy.

The additional hormone increase is apparently so small it's not exactly noticeable. I know lotsa guys who are big who never done a squat in their life.

Does that mean squatting for biceps is like not jacking off for biceps?

this is true....
I read that the working of legs will increase the amount of testosterone released in the bodt since they're such a large muscle group and will therefore increase the size of other bodyparts as well.
Working out your lower body increases testosterone so yea, perhaps MAYBE you could have not gained as much size. But I'm sure you run, right? No better workout the a long run for your legs. I work mine out (w/ weights) like once every 2 weeks, but my running and diet did the work. Fast too. PEACE IM OUTTA HERE!

I dont give a phuck how aesthetic your upper body is, if your legs arnt trained well everyone will be secretely loling at you, including me.

Strong bumps in this thread.
If you are training your legs with proper intensity trust me that you'll only want to do them once a week. :)
I agree! Going through that right now! Plus, sometimes certain leg workouts tend to make you burn a lot of calories, and those who want to GAIN know how important is to NOT loose any of those bad boys
