Hell yeah!
Definitely will be flossing more, the dentist highly recommended it. I have insurance that will pay for some of it but looking at around 500 dollars for co pay for all the proceedures. I don't think I'm going to miss with the wisdom teeth. When I feel back there, there's no poSsible way they will be able to take them out, they are wedged between the back teeth in an awkward position
Shoot that's less than I've paid for dental stuf. :)
If your wisdom teeth are in funny they could cause issues down te road. So you could wait for them to bug ya. I had to have mine removed by an oral surgeon. They were not coming in all the way and were in my mouth funny.
Good luck!
Morning everyone! Hope everyone is doing well and has a good weekend. Weather here is so refreshing today! It cooled off to 73F. Supposed to get a bit cooler next week. :)

I never really ate them before either, but I was at the grocery store, and saw them and thought "hmm, cheap, complex carbs. I'm down." Put a little butter and some salt and pepper on them. Salt really makes that nasty carrot-like taste go away.
EDIT: ^What proud******* said.

I like w butter and cinnamon, makes it taste like a dessert, steak + sweet potato "dessert" = winning
Good luck with the gums PD! Hope they don't screw you up like they did my friend! They did a root canal and put her on heavy pain meds. When the pills were out, the pain came back really bad.
Brb...Dentist did root canal on wrong tooth

for the wisdom teeth, I would leave them as well as long as the doc believes they won't do any further damage. I assume they're fully grown in, so the damage has been done. since wisdom teeth grow in weird directions, to get them out will require a lot of cutting and bone chipping. my dad had to get one removed when he was in his 40s. he was fuked up for a while and was spitting out bone chips for weeks.

I predict that's what they'll probably do to me because my wisdom teeth are angled at a 90 degree angle downwards wedged between my back tooth. I'm for sure not getting it done now lol

Hey guys,
Just starting to be serious with my nutrition so i've been reading some of your logs, i have a few questions though. I know i should get a gram of protein per pound of body weight, but im not sure how much carbs i should eat. I'm 192 right now and want to be 180(goal set for now). I'm gonna try to eat about 2000 calories- give or take about 100. Anything else i should know?

welcome :p
i'm assuming you're cutting so 2,000 calories might be fine. i'd still go to the sticky thread in the nutrition section and find out what your maintenance is, then subtract 500 calories from that and eat that much everyday so you lose a lb a week. regarding macros, get all your protein and fat in, then fill rest in with carbs. of course this could change if you try to do keto or a low carb diet, but you can cut just by eating what you usually eat in smaller amounts.
Thought I'd ask this here in case any of u has knowledge on green tea science, been drinking 1 cup/day for said antioxidant and thermogenic benefits for a long time, but couple months or so saw a misc thread claiming study showed it decreases test. Sounded like broscience so I kept drinking it but tbh the thought what if it's decreasing test plays on my mind. Anyone have any info on this question if green tea can decrease test levels?

nah thats BS - green tea doesn't reduce test its a myth
it inhibited the levels of testosterone on Rats only when they injected them with large amounts of green tea antioxidants in their vains

I drink green tea and look at me......... oh shiiiiiiiiiiii maybe you should stop drinking green tea :p

Thx bro, good info, if it can ever get me looking as ripped as u will definitely keep drinking the stuff lol
Someone just bumped green tea thread I was thinking about here, http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=147875913&pagenumber=,reading again sounds like total broscience, anyway still been drinking green tea everyday and my test still feels high
Going out of town for a week, InB4 Oprah body.
Do you guys bother packing supps like protein when you go out of town? I never have so far, just because I pack as light as possible but have toyed with the idea.

We almost always pack protein. We will put it in smaller containers and label it to help. We always take vitamins and all that too. :)

I did once but found it to be too much of a hassle without much reward. compared to other times I've gone out of town for 2-3 weeks without bringing whey, I didn't see a noticeable difference at all. I bring multis everywhere though, mainly because mine are gummy and they are delicious

Depends on how long I go for and how serious I am at the time with diet, have packed almonds and protein powder when I went to vegas once. I always take protein, usually in ziploc bags. If I am going for a longer stretches I will just buy protein there.
Going back home for 2 weeks in Feb and am in the middle of dieting. Going to bring food scale, protein, and what ever else will make it easier.

I'd get them surgically removed if the docs give you a choice. Delaying further will only cause more problems down the road. It really wasn't bad at all for me, but mine were coming in basically straight. It's really not that big of a deal. I'd get it done and over with if I were you. Sorry to beat a dead horse.
