My roommate says that if you take whey protein for awhile and get all the nitrogen in your system. Then obviously your muscles will grow, but he says when you stop taking it your muscles will deflate and you will have "stretch marks" from where your muscles were larger and went to smaller. I'm not planning on decreasing weight or anything but eventually when I get the size I want Im gonna stop taking whey. Any comments would help greatly!
Do your own research on the matter and come to a conclusion on it based on something besides your roommate who is obviously working toward a PhD in Broscience.

Roommate went from 4000Cal lifting 7x per week to 1500Cal spending 8h/day on computer when WoW came out.

1. Get a new roommate.
2. Whey is just protein...like chicken, fish or steak, etc. You need a certain amount per day. If you stop taking it and don't change your diet in any other areas you might lose weight since you'll be eating fewer calories.

I'm on a deployment to Afghanistan, I dont pick my room mates they are assigned to me unfortunately! Thanks for all the advice from everyone

Hey i wanted to ask you if i were on whey protien for about 4 months and i want to start a cutting phase without the use of any supplements will my muscles get smaller and things like that ?
