Nice!
See if you can find a plate tree that also provides bar storage. That'll be a good way to get some of your equipment up off the floor. It'll give you more space too.

Im sure you have man. But this in my garage for personal use

-
Considering this is the stomping grounds of home gym FANATICS....yours isn't stacking up very well bro :)
But it's a good start and you've got tons of space!
-
Haha yeah there are people around here that have full out commercial gyms in their garages.
Compared to any joe off the street, your gym is pretty nice. Compared to the average bb.com home gym regular, it's mediocre at best.
-
Its not too bad, but I'd think you'd get a better response in this forum section if you did not add "mirin" to your thread title.
-
I am cracking-up at all these responses. Especially the one about the sweet couch. Sorry about your home gym failure man :P
Make sure to set out a punch-bowl of haterade prior to putting 'mirin' in your thread title.

Power Rack... Check
Olympic Bar... Check
Plates... Check
Adjustable Bench... Check
Good enough for me.

thats not a power rack, its a smith machine
OP sell the smith and get a power rack ASAP, get more weights, and a better adjustable bench (look at the Pendlay adjustable bench), and get some dumbbells
There is a huge thread for people to post pics of their home gyms and talk about it
Also the word MIRIN is the dumbest saying these days (along w/ BEAST MODE).

In before the whIning. . .
thats not a power rack, its a smith machine
Ah, you're right, I wasn't looking closely. Guess i just assumed anybody would have a power rack.

this guy speaks the truth.
Also, not mirin at all, looks too messy and dirty, would be depressing going there every day to work out

This thread isn't going quite the way you expected, is it?
-
where are the pics of the gym?
-
is that carpet? well has basics that u need.
-
Definitely second getting rid of the Smith and getting a Power rack
Otherwise not a bad job, as you said, it's your space to train in and if your happy with it and getting results, nothing else matters
-
where are the pics of the gym?
Ha ha.
All he needs to do is replace the smith for a Rack.
Replace the bench for a good one.
Replace the 1" stuff for olympic.
Tidy the place up.... and then you're done.
All joking a side, if you can get a good work out from the kit you have, then that's all you need.
As mentioned above, there's a forum for home gyms etc, so there you go.

Srs.
OP, where's the pepper? You know. For the angus.
-
Looks like you have everything you need OP. But as people have mentioned, it just doesn't stack up to a lot of home gyms in this section. Check our the stickies at the top - some of those home gyms will make your jaw drop.
