Why would you want fake ice cream?
BRB eating Ben and Jerry's.
Because I want to try it out. It's like a free snack, if I get my hands on stuff like Ben and Jerry's again I don't know how much I would eat it :P

I've never heard of this before. And it has whey in it. Now you've got me interested..

I wouldnt say its fake, but Im loving Breyers low fat icecream...its like 120 calories per .5 cup instead of 250.
Other than that, ive found out that BnJ really makes me feel like ****. When I eat it, makes me feel bloated, gives me bad gas, and overall bad.

Probably not worth the 150 cals.

Never tried Breyers but I'm lovin' Edy's low fat French Vanilla. ~105 cals for half a cup. I've been eating a couple of cups of it with cereal.
Reviews on amazon say it's terrible. Like a frozen protein shake with a bad aftertaste.
They say that if anything it works as a base for a protein shake.

realy expensive ones
ingredients: water, whey, sugar and vegetable gums
OP- better off blending a shake with some xantham and splenda
Bought a tub of it about a year ago.. Suuuucked.
Real Ice Cream > Arctic Zero. IMO.
its not bad, the choco pb tastes alright but not amazing.
tastes like freezing a protein shake, just a little sweeter, nothing like ice cream though

Well duh but that kind of kills the whole low calories thing...
my mom gets it at whole foods.. dunno if they have it in canada. the only flavor worth getting is vanilla maple, and it goes rly well w splenda and cinnamon. and it doesnt have whey in it, it had a sweetener called whey-low, which isnt protein based
The Coffee and Vanila Maple flavors are really good. I only like eating them mixed with cereal.
Really is it that bad? Huh I guess I will just pass on it and just have normal ice cream now and then for a cheat snack, thanks everyone for the feedback!

@ the 128 and 136 calories per pint ones
anyone wanna tell me how 11carbs and 4 protein = 32 calories?
sounds more like u know 60 calories to me
There's always Skinnycows and Froyo :)

Yes. Those are pretty good.
yea honestly, its not as bad as ppl are making it out to be.
the coffee one was actually pretty decent

Thanks for this I looked them up and they seem pretty good. I will look for these next time at the grocery store!
Okay I picked up a couple pints. The vanilla maple flavor is actually quite tasty. The chocolate peanut butter is okay but def wish I had just bought 2 of the vanilla maple. Consistency is like that of sorbet and the taste is kind of like gelatto (but not as good). Regardless, it's still good and I'll probably buy it again. I payed about $4.45 per pint, so it's kind of pricey as far as ice cream goes. But then again what isn't pricey at whole foods?
Also,
It seems the nutrition facts are incorrect. It lists 4g protein and 7g carbos per serving @ 37 calories. This should be 44 calories. It seems their website: http://www.myarcticzero.com/nutritionfacts.php features some new labels that show 45 calories so that's more in line...I guess they fudged on the packaging.
Anyways, it's pretty good and low calorie regardless.

This is incorrect. The second listed ingredient is whey protein concentrate.
I think the Chocolate one is "ok". One time buying them a lady in front of me in line turned around to tell me how gross she thought they are. Strong hate.

Thanks for the review those were two flavours I was really interested in especially Vanilla, I love that stuff. People also seem to like the coffee kind, but sadly I don't think I will be able to get any of that stuff without going online :(

Yeah people seem to love or really hate the stuff.
I dont know what you guys are smoking. i just tried this stuff for the first time today and I think its great. Then again Ive been dieting for 21 weeks already and am 5 weeks out lol. Seriously though chocolate peanut butter tastes really good and the consistancy is suprisingly pleasant. I felt very naughty eating it.
I know that the foodies of BB.com will hate me for saying this but I actually perfer fat free ice cream over normal ice cream...
I make homemade ice cream with skim milk, stevia, and vanilla extract and I think it tastes better than any kind of B&J or Hagen Daz I have ever had. That stuff is too thick and foamy for my liking. I like my frozen treats to be icy and refreshing. I am the kind of guy who would rather have an ICEE than a milkshake.
*commence shtstorm*

A lot of these dudes can't relate because they have room in their macros to fit in legitimate ice cream. I feel your pain bro. ;)
I've never seen it (Canadian here). But based on the reviews I've read, I doubt I would want to try it, anyway. Have you ever had Skinny Cow ice cream, OP? They've got a huge variety of flavours/types (ie. drumsticks, ice cream cups, bars, sandwiches, etc), and range anywhere from 90-150 cals per item (and they actually taste really good, too). ;)

Skinny Cow is awesome, but there is a tiny little bit of fat in them. In a contest prep scenario where every gram counts they're a little bit harder to fit in than Arctic Zero which is basically frozen whey. The plain old vanilla ice cream sandwiches are the best ones I've tried and the PB/Chocolate one let me down big time.
I'd honestly prefer a couple scoops of ON Casein frozen for a little bit over AZ if I had the room for the protein in my macros. More satiating and it tastes better if prepared the right way.
I like them for the most part.
vanilla=boring
chocolate=boring
strawberry=boring
pumpkin spice=tastes great at first, then like orange creamsicle after (gross)
CPB=tastes like burned chocolate to me
chocolate mint=love this, plus mint kills my desire for food afterwards
coffee=love this to death
cookies and cream=only had it once, and it was pretty damn good
It's a nice substitute for blowing a ton of calories on real ice cream during a cut.

Skinny cows freaking own! I just found strawberry shortcake at a wal-mart in sandwich form. tastes soooo good for 140 cals. Just wish they were a little cheaper, 4.50 for 6 is a bit pricey.
And I agree, bought PB last week, sucked!
