Did you do this yourself or did a shop do all this?
-
OP what do you do?
that build seems like it smash the fuk out of your bank account.
Srsly looks like this build was inspired by Fast and Furious. Unnecessarily obnoxious speakers. Nitrous in a street car.
Edit: bodykit and massive muffler? cmon OP... your not helping yourself here...
I would kill myself if I had to drive a v6 car that gets its only power from nitrous and a massive turbo on the street. You would hardly ever hit the turbo and you cant use nitrous on the streets...
I'll give you an A for effort though... not trying to hate... just saying this build doesn't seem to be a practical street, strip, or track car imo...
if this isn't the definition of hating, i dont know what is.

Repped on first post. I am conjuring up a 2j build myself, something not yet done. Just need to measure some chassis dimensions and motor/trans to make sure it makes sense to do it. A friend and employee of mine has a 1j with a 6262 in a S14 on E85 almost finished which is where my serious appreciation for the jz motors came from. During the breakdown of his motor for tank/deck and everything else I truly fell in love with these motors after being so impressed. Don't worry about anyone else's opinion but your own. These motors are seriously one of the most impressive things I have seen in person when completely disassembled. I mean heck if V8 brahs are installing oil squirters on their cars and these motors are during 20 and had them already...whos doing it right?
Bravo. Nice build.
The difference between a 600hp supra and a 1000 hp supra?
Nothing.
As much as it hurts me to say this is true lol. Supra's are sexy and awesome iconic tuner cars, but people always boast about stupid HP numbers that dont mean much. Rather keep it sitting around 400hp just so the engine, drive train, and etc last awhile.
EDIT: Obnoxious speakers? Surely op doesnt want quality audio in his car. JL's are some of the best sub's you can get. w7's ? **** off *******. Lol @ big turbo that wont kick in on the street. V6? You sound like a muscle car *******.
-
still rocks the factory sound system that came in his 12 year old car crew**

Stock internals will hold 700rwhp+ safely and up to 900 with some risk. I have forged pistons and h-beam rods. They'll reliably hold over 1k all day long. I only run 16psi on the street though which is right around 650 to the wheels, and there is a HUGE difference between 16 psi and 40 psi. This car makes functional power.

My nitrous isn't for additional power, its to give the car low range power to even out the powerband. its on a window swith and shuts off when the tubo has full boost.
go to the link below for the mod list (you can vote while youre there if you want, if not no worries only takes 15 seconds though)

even 1000whp street mustangs get walked by cars with 2-300whp less than it.
their gearing fuks it all up.
Any idea how much you've spent on the car, from the day you got it to now?
I'm not sure I havent kept track. I do a lot of the work myself though whick keeps costs down some
Thank you for this, this is awesome and I hope you have fun with it
How do you know how to build a car though? Is this your profession?
Its a lot of fun to drive, but its high maintenance so i cant drive it as much as id like. I'm self taught with cars but I do some work for performance aftermarket companies
Awesome.
Cost?
Not sure, but it was spread over years of time so it was manageable.
Nice to see another SF member on the MISC. All those jokes about supras having to race from a roll because they all run 12 sec 1/4 miles is no longer true unless the person doesn't know how to drive it.
haha yeah strong unaware in here.
Seen all those vids b4, never imagined the owner would be a miscer lol.

OP did you do all this yourself?

AZ reps. Looks like scottsdale from your vids you posted. Im in queen creek as of now. Your car is the sikkestkunt, mirin. If you ever feel like giving a fellow misc brah a ride....
I have an hks ssq for low boost and a stiff spring tial for high, they work together for a unique sound. i do plan on removing the insert on my hks though. thx for the vote, i must spread reputation before repping you again.

Small spool jet to get it lit? gt4508 is a hell of a lot of charger to get spooled with 3 liters. I suppose for a drag car that'd be alright but big singles have not been worth it on the street in my experience. Ran essentially a GT4094 for a while, I've got 5.9 liters but only <4000 rpm to play with. When it finally did lite it was fun but almost out of revs. Building a compound twin set, gt3582 over 4508.
-
How do you react to people trying to race you on the streets?
It literally seems like anywhere I go someone tries to race me.
I normally just carry on with my business and don't fuk with it.
