I haven't bought anything yet, but I am leaning towards Sony Vegas Pro 11 (ebay) or the Vegas Pro 12 but that suite is still $500+ off Newegg.
This is for work so I can't torrent it.

Final Cut Pro is what I use unless I'm on one of the Dell's at work then it's Adobe Premiere Pro

It's a free download for Windows 7. Not sure about Windows 8 though.

Audie when it came to editing I like Final Cut Pro if on Mac. But if not I would use Avid. Avid is what they use in motion picture but I think they make an express version which is still pretty powerful.

I use Premiere. Sony I heard was easier. Get the best graphic card you can afford, as much ram as you can afford, solid state primary drive will help. The HD rendering takes a lot of time :) If your system can't handle it; it will crash in the middle of your project and you will cry. Ask me how I know :( lol

I looked into Avid and their pro version is the same price as Adobe Master collection :eek: roughly around $2500. No can do on that. I'm not going to need a motion picture quality just something easy but creates great 2-8 mins. clips for youtube...Anything longer than that youtube community members will be bitchin as to how long the vid was.

Damn thanks for the tips Hanh...My system at home is fairly new built (I built it this past February). So I will be on the look out for best bang for the buck as far as stretching my work computer budget.. More likely I will just give a specs to the computer shop that my work uses.

A fan gave me my key for Premiere. He had a student account he wasn't using. Before that I was reformatting every 30 days just to use the premiere trial. lol
But good luck to ya. Trying to workout, record, and editing a video is tough. Either you get a good workout with ****ty video or good video with not so great workout. If you could find a friend who does filming for a hobby it would be a lot easier!

Yeah that's what I'm afraid off. I tried to do a vid response for Lobliner's youtube promo and failed miserably...I thought I had setup my phone to record it was recording but can only see my arms lifting the weights cannot see the entire me doing the lift so I just said fuk it and moved on lol
