A two week bulk will not be very beneficial. You should either...do a long term bulk and live with fat gains untill its time to cut or just eat clean and do cardio along with your weightlifting but gain muscle slower. Your stats say 6'1'' 156lbs so I would strongly recommend bulking to get meat on your bones than cut. If you are training for a sport than the second option might be better.
youd make no progress dude
heres what i do:
bulk for 10 months...then cut for the remaining 2 months
id usually stay really lean for the first 5 months or so of my bulk
hope that helps dude
the whole "bulking" philosophy is flawed (for non-steroid users). No matter how much you eat, you're only going to gain about .25 to .5 pounds of muscle per week max. eating at a calorie surplus of a few hundred calories is the best thing you can do.
to all the people saying that wont work... i believe Layne Norton used a similar technique to stay lean year round.. it might not have been 2/1 it may have been 4/2 or something like that but i remember reading he used that strategy.
