+1. Really, almost any real food source of protein is going to take a while to digest. The whole "whey for fast release/casein for slow release" thing, while basically true, is more useful to supplement companies than it is to bodybuilders.
Eat food.
Red meat.

I read somewhere a list of how long certain foods take to digest. yeah, cottage cheese was up to 7 hours, but i think chicken and steak was still about 4 hours. maybe someone can locate that list and post it.

i was thinking the same thing but for a different reason , i have a slight milk intolerance, i'm going to ask a dietitian when i speak to the soon

any kind of fish and meat.
I'm not sure whether you can buy low fat curd cheese in the usual supermarket, but in germany, it is an excellent, cheap source of casein.
