pretty good scaling bro...
phil have the biggest muscle bellies among the pros thats for sure.
Roelly is the only one that comes close to Phil in the arms department. I know Roelly is smaller than him by a good bit but damn that photo scaling is wayyyy off.

look at his right brachialis.
Phil's are better IMO
I remembered an article on a magazine I read before a few years back that even before Phil started bodybuilding he would train his forearms already
nicely developed

His forarms almost look swollen whether intential or not, it still looks like damn good muscle.
Mike
Can't beleive ppl are still trying to compare Roelly and Phil. Phil stood next to Jay and the other top guys and still killed everyone in Brachiordialis development. Roelly was in the bottom middle/lower tier of the same show and was STILL getting greatly outsized by everyone. No matter how big his arms/forearms look on his tiny frame, they aren't. I remember this when PPL were posting pics of his RLS standing alone and saying he was a "mass monster" lol.

Yeah man the Roelly hype was just ridiculous.
I remember when someone posted a close up black and white shot of his back which had been taken with a fish eye lens and had numerous effects added people lost there minds.
Just shows you can't tell if anyone has improved until they're up on that stage.
That's a Philcep.

Phil trained for a number of years before starting the bodybuilding, just for basketball not size etc

this is true, all else is smoke and mirrors. like i always say, it's always the best of the best pics that competitors release. look at kai's kitchen-pics, they didn't reflect his placing very well.
but.. you will continue to see this. people like to hype and roelly is releasing so many pics and he looks like gym-mr olympia in many of them so the hype will go on. Take comfort that his 14th placement will probably lessen it by a great deal.

Roelly isn't flexing his left forearm, but Phil still has better overall arms.

Spoon pic NAO! I see the white-knights already gave you some greens.

Even his head is a full round muscle belly. FUUUUU
Can't beleive ppl are still trying to compare Roelly and Phil. Phil stood next to Jay and the other top guys and still killed everyone in Brachiordialis development.
That would be because Jay and Branch have pretty sh*tty brachioradialis. When comparing a single muscle group, it really doesn't matter how the two placed. Just look at Joel Stubbs. His back is insane and would probably stack up quite well to everyone in the top 6, if not beat some of them.
Roelly didn't place 14th because the 13 guys ahead of him had better brachioradialis, lol. He placed 14th because his conditioning was a little off, and his torso is a serious weak point. Roelly's arms are by far his biggest asset, and IMO, are still some of the best arms in the IFBB. Comparing his arms to Phil's shouldn't be something that is outrageous.

It looks like a Ironing board, sh*t is flat as f*ck.

Inb4 ultimate soldier says he wouldn't mind doing his ironing on Roelly.
the hype with roelly was crazy.
he will most diff improve in the future but the ''true mass monster'' comments were silly.
people were ripping bob about the back comment but he was sort of right, he really needs to bring it up to stand a chance of getting into the top 6 at olympia's

LOL Ultimaet_Soldier is pure quality. I bursted out laughing yesterday when he was saying that "We all love the hot man muscle look of Jay Cutler"
heath is sick
ive seen a few non pros with some ridiculous forearms too tho
