Mono?
Kre-Alkalyn?
ect...?
depends on your body. everyone reacts differently. CEE and KA didnt do anything for me. Mono I had some results but my body responds the best to HCL. So its trial and error.
Is mono not absorb as much as Kre-Alk by your body, or is 3g of mono = 3g of KA?
Mono will do you perfectly fine, simply take 3-5g workout days and you'll be fine.
Kre Alkalyn all the way for me. I've used mono for years and have seen some good results, but since I've switched to Kre Alkalyn my improvements have been much better. I'll never go back to mono.

from my experience creatine monohydrate. make sure it's creapure. and mix it with juice for best uptake (so i've heard)
Good ol' mono is the best! Its a top suppliment! Get the cheapest one you can that is 99%+ Pure because its basically all the same!
make sure it's creapure.
This isnt really even that important anymore, just make sure its from a reputable company
from my experience creatine monohydrate. make sure it's creapure. and mix it with juice for best uptake (so i've heard)
well, you're 25% right. :)
yes - cre mono is sufficient for the mass majority (almost entirety) of ppl.
creapure or not does not matter
needing "sugar" to aid in creatine uptake is not needed
if you do choose sugar/creatine combo, you would not find fructose (fruit juice) to be the ideal one, as fructose goes straight to be converted into liver glycogen (and liver glycogen doesn't do much and when its full, what ever else you eat with fructose will be spilled over).. dextrose on the other hand is proccesed in the muscles and coverted to muscle gylcogen.
thus, dextrose > fructose for this purpose.
Mono?
Kre-Alkalyn?
ect...?
The one you buy and USE! Creatine works....regardless of who makes it. Some have side effects from purity issues, and some have other goodies in them. Try any....try them all. The end result of creatine supplementation should be the same with them all.
CEE does my body right

In before the PA argument. Because everyone has chem sets in their basement
Creatine RT causes supersaturation within ones PCr stores.
Go for that.

lol, dont confuse people

You missed this part:

i guess i should read more closely.
if dextrose or any other "sugar" is not needed to aid creatine uptake, then do i really need some type of carb along with a creatine mono PWO to get facilitate the insulin spike i keep hearing about?
Mono?
Kre-Alkalyn?

Always start with mono. If it works, stick with it! If by any chance it messes with your stomach and causes gas, bloating, etc, then give KA a try. It is basically mono that does not cause these issues.

if you want to create a staged insulin spike at this timing, fine..glass of choco milk or a bowl of cereal works well too.
first off, i want to thank you for helping a noob clarify this. i read manufacture labels and website information on companies combining creatine with dextrose and other "creatine transport" products, but there are so many sources of info out there- it's easy to get overwhelmed. what then is the benefit as you see it of a staged insulin spike? i read an article here on BB that suggests simply mixing creatine with oj along with an additional glass of oj at 10 or 20 minute intervals following consumption is beneficial.
From the human research that I've read, Creatine Monohydrate has superior creatine muscle saturation and lower creatinine break-down compared with Kre-Alkalyn and CEE. I couldn't find many human peer-reviewed research on the other forms of creatine, so I just stick with CreaPure (99% Creatine Monohydrate). The human comparative study on Kre-Alkalyn is sketchy, but I've tried Kre-Alkalyn (2 bottles) and didn't notice any benefit to taking that form and I believe my body responded much better to plain old CM.
I like mono, it gets the job done,
try some SciFit mono

Why is this? It seems as if most people advise against taking creatine over creapure?
Why is this? It seems as if most people advise against taking creatine over creapure?
Creapure is creatine. It is just an assured level of purity. You can have regular creatine mono just as pure. Most reputable companies will have good sources of monohydrate, and in those cases there wont be a difference between standard mono and creapure.
The benefit of buying creapure is that you know for sure that you are getting a pure product.

i second this
Con-Cret has worked great for me
Mono works. Its the standard - you cant go wrong. I just dont like the bloat.
So now I trend more towards the KA. It just suits me better and gives me what I need.
CEE, for me, is worthless. Ive seen some literature making similar claims.
Havent had enough experience with micronized to comment.
