ATD is not only an aromatase inhibitor but also a central antiandrogen in several brain areas. Hence the common drop in libido.
6-bromo (when dosed reasonably low) creates a better T/E ratio and some users experience a better sex drive. Very high doses are going to crush your estradiol level and your libido as well tho.
huge......
what would be considered a high dose of 6bromo. would 75mg/day be considered high ??
thanks Huge

I consider 75mg the safe upper limit.

My pleasure.
I noticed no change in libido with 6-Bromo. But it's like DR_P said in another thread, different substances can cause different reactions in different people, even opposite reactions. I've seen people say ATD increased their libido and I've seen people say 6-Bromo killed theirs. It just depends on the person.
I think a lot of it is psychological/psycho****tic. If you take ATD thinking "Oh shyt this is gonna destroy my mojo!" then it probably will. If you take Horny Goat Weed thinking "this is gonna get me in the mood for lurve" then chances are it will too. With 6-Bromo I didn't expect anything to change libido-wise and it didn't. <Pure broscience but I do think there's something in it.

Why don't other steroidal AIs act as central or peripheral anti-androgens? Something in its conformation allows it to bind to AR whereas other AIs cannot?

Placebo plays a role, but a standard daily dose of ATD is actually nasty for your libido.
i'm coming off my 25mg/day of atd in less than week... it may have knocked my libido... hard to tell lol
