not a bad bench at all for the money, preacher curl is actually comfortable to use.
A friend of mine has that one and he is pretty happy with it. Good for the money I guess.
do you guys know if it comes with a bar?
how much do bars cost?

no bar or wieghts, dont buy a golds gym bar either, they are only 45 bux but i have one that bent with only 235 on it:(. best deal would be a 300lb wieght set from dicks or sports authority. they come with a bar & are usually under 150 bux some times you can get them for around 100-120 if you are lucky.
No bar with it. Bars vary, they have a Gold's Gym bar at Walmart as well. I THINK it is about 50 bucks. BUT- I dont know if I would recommend it.
The XRS 20 is a decent setup for a beginner, i used to own one and it was great to me. I have pass it along to my brother who is also just starting to lift. But as you progress and start to lift more weight you will want to upgrade to a better setup. But until then you can start saving money.
I have the bench myself and the bench part of it set ups good for me I'm 6 1 1/2 the safeties are a;so good for my height, the prech and legs hit me good also however the squat on this is not at all that good after youre done with the set if youre spent and tring to set the weight back on the rack and youre not carefull you will find that the rack wants to tip backwards, as far the bar from wallmart thats 45 bucks handles upto no more than 300 lbs. if you go to dicks or (mcsporting goods in MI) they have sets that start around 160 for 210 lbs loose weight or 229 at mc for 300 lbs with a bar rated at 1000 lbs good luck

Id recommend it
I was looking at it 3 weeks ago and it was $299.00 then the good forum members here at BB told me about the Powertec power rack.
The upright posts on the Gold's Gym XRS20 Bench
are rated at 300 lbs. (but closer look at the pole that helps then bench incline was a turn off)
