Thanks man, legs were my HUGE weak point for awhile.
Here is a calf vascularity shot from the other day, about 50% of my strength is back. I did 175x5x5 paused squats last week.
Just trying to slowly update my progress.
Thanks to everyone who stopped in! It's been hard but honestly random people from the internet help lol
Thanks dude, that's partly the reason why I posted this. Hoping other who were in my position could see it. I couldn't find ANYONE else who lifted and also had this surgery...
What do you do for a living? 1 week is plenty for recovery for an office job.
Ty for the post op pics mate, recent one looks real good. Think I'll go through with it. Going to make some calls to doctors next week.
I'm a lawyer, depending on what my doctor tells me I guess I'll be taking between 1 and 2 weeks off work and I'll work from home if something comes up.

If you're mainly going to be doing office work then 1 week is good. Depending on whether they just cut into your skin or muscle could be sooner.
I took only 1 week off and had an office job at the time. They even had to cut into my ab muscle (most of the time this isn't needed) and I was back at work in 7 days.
Let me know man if you have any other questions! Post em here in this thread.
Definitely great job! You'll be a motivating factor for lots of gents looking to turn their physique/lifestyle around. Good luck in the future!
Wow.....just wow
:) Thanks!
That's amazing! Did you do lots of cardio and did you up or down your calorie intake?
I did do quite a bit of cardio in the beginning, actually stopped doing cardio for awhile then picked it back up as needed. My calorie intake always varied depending on what was going on at any given time.
different person! wow awesome job, I want to ask, How are you treated now? do people seem to think your someone else? awesome job again!
Thanks dude, I am treated A LOT differently. Guys have more respect for me and chicks give me more attention. It's weird because my personality hasn't changed but others have changed towards me, mostly for the better but I've realized how vien people are without even meaning to be...it's just part of being a human. A lot people look at me and have no clue I use to be fat.
Bump for others to see!
Amazing dude, simply amazing.
Amazing dude, simply amazing.
Thanks man! You competing this year?
Crazy transformation. Some more motivation for me to do the same! Thank you for sharing your experience. I would like to ask though, is there anything you would have done differently knowing what you do now, versus what you thought back when you were first starting?
How much did that surgery cost? I'm down from 265 to 185. Mine isn't as bad as yours was but I don't see it getting better.
nvm saw you said around 5g for chest and stomach. I'm thinking I would need a little bit for stomach.
Wow man, great inspiration to keep me going was at 290 and im down to 225, good luck on surgery, mirin hard!
skin issue is honestly not bad at all it will get better with time and as you get into single digit
Its really just the lower abs which is amazing considering your lost over a 100lbs
Legs look really good also, back and arms also.
I'd say bodyfat is about 13%
drop into single digit and stay lower for awhile and you will be amazed at how your skin bounces back to normal
