Howcome whenever I visit one of these threads, there's always very angry music being posted. Are you guys really angry when you lift? Do you lift while angry? I'm almost the complete opposite it seems, and would rather an intense but non-angry form of music to focus me in and lift while under complete control of my body and mind.
pantera and machinehead own all of your bands

non-angry music makes me want to sleep. Hence why I dont listen to it while lifting.

im like you. i rarely get angry, so listening to music that makes me angry doesnt work, unless the lyrics have some meaning to me. i like fast paced stuff like trance, techno, dance.
man, that reminds me, I need to put together a workout playlist. If anyone has a link to a torrent, that would be bad ass
I'll be lifting and all the sudden Lionel Richie will come on ("Hello, is it me you're looking for?")... and I mean, it doesn't destroy your lift... but it certainly doesn't help!
Cardio:
Flux Pavilion
Skream
Cookie Monsta
Bassnectar
Emalkay
Pretty much anything electronic with a steady backbeat to keep my breathing rhythm.
Strength:
Metallica (mostly older stuff)
Black Dahlia Murder
Job For a Cowboy
Brotha Lynch Hung
White Zombie
Tupac
Spice 1
Pretty much anything that makes me either feel like some sort of monster or a badass gangster.
