I'm currently drinking nearly 1litre of milk a day or so.
Will this keep me growing and which should I drink, semi skimmed or full cream?

1litre is fine. you can drink more if you want. i drink 1-2% just because i know i get my fat from other sources. but if youre an ecto, whole milk would probabyl benefit you best. but its up to you
i dont know dude, too much milk isnt good for you, as far as i know. i try to drink atleast one glass per day

Milks very good for you, Calcium remember, i drink about 1 pint per day.
Yummmm I love me some milk! I drink 4.5 cups before bed everynight have 2 cups with breakfast, 2 cups in a protein shake, 2 cups when I have dinner, a few random cups again, then 4.5 before bed again. I drink a lot of milk... a gallon in 24-36 hours.
i drink skim milk, but only about 12-16 ounces every other day, id much rather drink water
i dont even know how much i drink, i just chug out the gallon. i will usually kill a gallon every 4days, max. =/ maxxxxxx

i drink about 5 glasses a day also
Man, never realized how more much milk I drink than most. I love it though... 24 hours 2080 calories from milk.
i drink about a gallon a day (6-8 pints) of semi skimmed.
Love the stuff, but in the summer i opt for water more and will drink like a gallon of that.
I drink about 6-8 pints a day along with 6-8 pints of water..
I like milk.

A gallon of milk and a gallon of water is all I drink daily, with the occasional energy drink.
A gallon a day seems a little bit excessive....
A glass (8oz?) seems way low.
Maybe 32-40 oz a day including the milk I mix with protein powder.

I drink 1 - 1.5 litres of milk everyday. Sometimes blend two bananas in 600 mL for calories. I dont think milk causes any problems. One of the best protein sources with loads of vitamins and calories too.
I used to have 10 pints a day which was WAY too much. Now I have about 4 pints max each day.
growing up i drank whole milk /EVERYDAY/. during the hot summers, id come home and drink milk, mom told me to drink water and i still drank more milk. combine that with the amount of cereal i ate(a **** load)
i never had any problems...besides the fact that humans arent necessarily supposed to drink cows milk...
why not try to drink as much milk? ez calories

dude you misunderstood kahn. I read his thread and posts about milk too. even asked him about it bc im on rippetoes and he suggests drinking a gallon of milk a day in his book.
this is what kahn said in response to that.
"A gallon of milk is simply a lot of calories, and for the dietetically challenged (read: doesn't eat enough) that can be helpful. Otherwise, seek to get your calories from lean meats, oats, olive oil, etc."
so hes not saying milk sucks at all. just depends really on your goals.
I drink 1.5 litres a day, thtas 750 calories just in that.
