I'm planning to start using Cellucor C4 extreme after trying and liking a sample I got, but I wrestle and holding water weight is not preferable. I know this contains some creatine, but I only plan to take it around twice a week, will it make me retain much?
Also, would Optimum Amino Energy have a similar effect but minus the creatine?

Wouldn't worry about it at all.
You should be completely fine. I wouldn't think it'd make more than a pound or two difference over the course of a month, if even that.
You wouldn't see much, if any, water retention from the small amount of creatine you would be taking in.
You would be fine with the C4 in my opinion.

Bingo. Creatine is 1g in C4 coming from a Creatine nitrate which is a 70/30% ratio of Nitrate to Creatine, so in essence the amount is not much to really show much retention if any at all since creatine is held INTRA-Cellular.
