As far as my Westside demo, I am having a heck of a time scheduling time to demo the units. They have limited hours for showing equipment, and my two previous attempts failed as the person I was to meet was not available. I'll try again this week.

I'm thinking that these units must have come from Jerry Sandusky's personal gym..... hahahaha
Yes, you might be right. Its a shame what how one guy did so much damage (and how the others did not handle it correctly to say the least. I spent 7 years in Happy valley and met Joe Pa many times. Unbelievable what happened.). My best friend walked on the team.

I was going to pick up one of the Hammer Plate loaded abs, but I can get a new one for $300.00 more than his asking price (and black pads which I want). He's charging too much on the Plate loaded ab and I told him that yesterday that I wanted to hold off once I got the pricing.

I'm anxious to find out. I pulled the trigger on the inverse leg curl. Will be great to hear your thoughts on the Reverse hyper bent pendulum, inverse leg curl, and that quad machine
You guys all did very well. I guess ultimately they had nothing I hadn't already bought or wanted. The 5 way neck looks cool. The gripper looks good also. We'll see how things shake out. I want to get that Parrillo curved Incline bench with wheels, feet, and bar from Edge fitness. I have my eye on two other used pieces, but they need completely remanufactured and there are dual shipping expenses involved.. and you also have Tyler Hobson working on his versions of those two machines... My gut feeling is that Tylers Pec Fly is going to be the best pec fly to date. Avenger 10 degree pec fly is not very good. I think Tyler will make a pec fly that is better than the Power Plus pec fly (after talking with him several times, I think it is going to be the best of that type of machine made yet).
Hans wants those pieces, but seems like his shipping coordinator Tony Trainer and I are stuck on the Palett issue. I need 3 palletts and Tony asked me if I could get some palletts, but I have none and Tony was supposed to get back to me Friday but they did not. Seems like not having palletts is an issue. I was hoping they could figure something out.

Yes, some of his pricing is off. As I recall, I inquired about a bench, but it was practically new pricing too.
Also, I have yet to hear any updates about my Atlantis order. Originally, they were saying 4 weeks to shipment (placed order 11/1 for pec/delt), so I'd expect it'll be shipping very shortly with a Lexington KY club large order. Once that's in, I'll be completely full in my basement for awhile.
A friend brought to my attention that i can use the pendulum chest press for training back as well. Facing in with feet up ,siting on a small bench rowing with The independent arms turns out to be nice upper back blast.

Bolt the units down (label each pallet to each machine) and Hans can reuse them when he sends them back to you. If Hans is going to totally remanufacture them, you are getting a great deal.

I have a converging Magnum Vertical chest press that I'm able to use in a similar fashion standing it front of it. It is the best exercise that I've found for my upper back and traps. Works great for super-setting the chest and back.

Very cool idea. I wouldn't have thought of that, but I bet if done with the right seat height it does hit the upper back well. I always like seeing machines able to be used for more than one exercise!

Which is equal to $929.10 as of todays exchange... and then you have to wire the money apparently. Definitely not worth it. I'm going to pass on that. Good product for the UK folks though :-) Just too expensive to ship here.
http://www.savagestrengthusa.com/watson-ultimate-bar.html
They appear to sell the Watson / Poliquin bars in the US (with options for rotating sleeves)
A lot of interesting bars on there, with videos of them in use like this one (dr tom combo bar - no smashing your teeth out or cracking skull):

Maybe some could make the best of the best list. I know the T-grips are on there but these might be better football bars than the westside curved /hollow one?
Alright, it's been an exceptional week for me. First I secured a Flex Pec Contractor, and now I have purchased 4 more pieces! Coming up from California, I have a Nebula Leg Press, Nebula Hack Squat, and Nebula T-bar Row. Coming from New York I have a Nebula IDA Low Row! Christmas definetly came early for me! Can't wait to get everything home!

I still owe you for posting your Nebula find for me!

was this yours? :D http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?auctionId=5787201 great find
The newest Legend Leveredge is a seated tricep. I am guessing that you face away from the machine and perform dip style presses. Don't know what the handle "thingy" is unless it might slide through the holes on top to lock the arms together. I may be totally wrong on how to properly use it though. It doesn't look particularly impressive but you never know until you can get on it and demo it.

Yes, looks like a reverse triceps dip machine.

I bought the above ramp (which is 6" wider and 12" longer than the one I saw Dave Goalder use):
You can see Dave's aluminum ramp below, which is one of his many useful tools. (Dave is in the picture, but mostly obscured by the lat pulldown). Once I saw how helpful that ramp was, I decided to get one.

The casters I ordered came in. Dave uses these to position and move equipment easily by himself. Seeing the casters in action with Dave Goalder made me want to order some as well. Hell of a lot better than dollies. Just have to get the right kind of casters and right size diameter of screw to fit the holes in the feet.

I know a guy that has 5 Nautilus Power Plus Plateload pieces for sale in Knoxville, Tn. if anyone is interested pm me. Great condition, I believe they are white frame w/black pads. 4-way neck, lateral raise, bicep, tricep, and seated leg curl.

Also, did anyone else call Quantum? I'd love to try a couple of their ab machines. Would like to see if anyone else can make some progress about learning more about there ab machines.
P.S. What is the latest word on the Avengers in Florida?
P.S. What is the latest word on the Avengers in Florida?
I think Dave Goalder was there today to pick up gear to take south. As he comes back north he was supposed to pick up the Avengers, but I am not sure if they will be complete. Did you get my message that they will begin making the row and the pullover after the new year?

Looks like it is in a slight recline position. They also have one similar to the Hammer MTS and one similar to the Quantum.
I would like to try the pullover, but from what I have heard, it is not that impressive. Not sure if Bill Casto still has his for sale, but he was not impressed with it... the fact he was selling it and was telling me that says a lot. I would like to try it because you never know... But sometimes, when you start getting multiple bad opinions on a piece (like the Avenger 10 degree pec fly), it certainly takes away from wanting to go out of my way to demo it.
That being said, I am glad they are making the pullover because that means the next time I go to Florida I can demo it. As far as the Avenger row, it is better than 95% of the rows in the market, but I'm still on the fence on whether I would purchase one or not. I was debating on going to Florida the first week of Jan, but decided not to go. Either way, I frequent florida 1-3 times a year, so the next time I go, I'm scheduling a full day at Gainesville Fitness.
You guys got some really unique pieces that were one of a kind. Have you told Ken about those Unique pieces that can be iso or locked together? Have they thought of making those versions?

So we may have some rare pieces. TJ bought the Avenger row that I didn't like. It is kind of designed like the Nebula IDA Low Row that Irongym just picked up but the Avenger hits higher on the back. TJ's is both fused and ISO.

Ok, 2 of you people really love this machine. I was just about to pay for the plate loaded version of the MTS, but now I have heard two people mention they really love this Nautilus One machine.
I guess I'm heading back to San Jose 24 Hour Fitness Super Sport tomorrow or Thursday just to demo this piece. Certainly, I'll demo the others while I am there.
For some reason, I don't recall this machine 'crunching' as well as the Hammer AB crunch.
I've got the hammer mts ab. I really like it, and so do my customers. I really don't like the way the nautilus one equipment looks, it's just way too feminine for my liking, same as the nautilus next gen and nautilus 2st.
I have to look back and see what the best of the best for lateral raise machines were. I've got an Avenger lateral, and lots of people love it, but it's just so damn big and I'm running out of space.

I only care about how the machine feels and the biomechanics. That being said, Gregg and andother guy who has the MTS Ab really love the Nautilus One Ab machine. I do not have a good memory of it, but they swear it has a greater range of motion. I'm gonna have to go demo it tomorrow I guess, or Thursday.

The Strive selectorized... It is an A++ and the picture on the website is outdated. I put the most recent version (pictures of my machine) up and it is amazing.
