I need an exercise to replace the one in title... one I can do at home.
Already doing chin-ups.... maybe I should do another exercise between my chin-ups and then do more chin-ups?? I looove chin-ups.

I only do wide and close grip. never really got into behind the neck

Well... point is I don`t have cables at home and was given a program to follow to get ready for physicals and lat pulldown is in there... can`t do that at home so I want an alternative.

Do you have the option to wide grip pull ups? You can do them behind the neck too, they are definitely harder than standard pull ups.

Not really wide no... my chin-up bar isn`t very wide (wide like a door lol).
I can do sternum chins maybe? Or medium grip is the best i can do...
Could just do your pull up's behind the neck. Pretty close to the same exercise, just a little bit harder. Instead of pulling your chin up to the bar, pull the back of your ears up to the bar.

Get Iron Gym Xtreme, it's only like $40 and offers a ton of different grip positions including wide (handles extend past the width of the doorway) I love it, definitely one of my favorite purchases. there's like 6 or so different hand positions on that thing.
