There's someone selling the below Powerblocks. They say it's the 90 pound set, but it doesn't look big enough. Maybe they just don't have them completely put together? Anybody know what set this is? I'm having trouble finding an exact match on the powerblock web site. Thanks!
Looks like the Elite 5-50 set:
"Prior to Sept 2005 our product was called the Pro set. This set was characterized by two holes in every plate. The Elite set is manufactured by welding two weight plates together"
"Elite Set 5-50 $349/pair ($59 S/H) The Elite Set 5-50 base set comes with plates 1-4, and has a weight range of 5-50 lbs per hand."
You can add on the 40lb kit to get to 90 per block:
"Elite 40 lb Add-On Kit $239 (plates 5-8) This kit can be used only with the Elite Set to bring the total weight in each hand up to 90 lbs per hand."
and can go up to 130 with the "Elite Big Block Kit 8-11 $349 (plates 8-11)"

That would make sense, and that's what I originally thought. But all the pics I can find of the 50 pound set have the colors going all the way down the side. Maybe it's an older version?

I have 90's and those are not by far. They are 50's like Jorome said, I just sold a set last week from a group buy.

Each plate is 5 lbs on the Elite 45 lb set, so the colors go all the way down. (8 plates + 5lb handles)

Each plate is 10 lbs on the Elite 50 set (4 plates, 10 lbs each (2 x 5lb plates welded together) plus the 2 x 2.5 lbs adder weights for each handle), so the colors go half way down to get 50 lbs. You can add the other 40 lb add on kit (plates 5-8, 10 lbs each) and the colors will then go all the way down to get 90 lbs each.

It is slightly different for the Sport and Urethane models...

Worth a look, not sure if I like the rack or the bench, but both for $130 is a good start to a safe useful home gym.

Found this on CL fairly close to me today. It's a Weider Pro XT75 Power Rack with lat attachment(probably wouldn't use much) and bench for $300. I know Weider isn't known for great quality but just wondered what you all thought at that price.

Edit: Also found another close to me as well. Negating all the cable accessories, and using it as just a normal rack does it seem worth it with all the weights that it comes with. Emailed the seller to try and find out a brand name.

Yup. I borrowed my bros truck to go pick this up last week real nice guy. But then i noticed it didn't have any safety racks and asked him if it did. he said it wasn't designed to have them so I never went to see it. I was wondering, why would anyone make a rack with no safety bars?

I'm looking for a solid bench for my power rack. Incline and flat are my only requirements at the moment
gracias!

I own this bench with the PTS. It's very sturdy and heavy duty. The only issue that my legs are pretty narrow so when I do seated curls by power blocks graze the side of the seat pad. Other than that it's fantastic. $250 is a good price as well.

Looks like an old leg press/hack squat. I asked the owner if he knew the brand and he said it was Wate-Man MFG. I have no idea who that is. He's asking $250 which seems high. Closer to $100-150 seems about right.

I doubt you will find one for under $200 very often. not saying it can't be done but he will get more than $150 for that piece. I sold one for $450 about two weeks ago. mine was a little heavier duty but older.

What about this bench (come with bar and some weights)?

^^Most people here prefer a power cage - but that looks like nice equipment. Tuff Stuff makes some decent equipment from what I've seen.

wow thought i got a good deal on those two CAP 45 pound plates. Now i see why prices of good cast iron plates are so high. Friend gave them to me in great condiition. But as i been using them they are chipping. weird random holes have appeared and one on the back has all these lines in it lol. Whats a good way to sand them down? just a regular belt sander? Also what do they mean that the paint they use causes cancer lol is that only if your sanding them down or the gray paint they use is toxic.

Post some pics. Have they been chipping after they are dropped? Lines on back might be from being machined down close to specifications. I would not mess with sanding, etc, if they don't have rust on them.

where they are chipping there is rust underneath. also not seen in the pic is in the holds are a few tiny holes. Whats weird is they seem to be gettign worse. but hey, atleast they both weight the exact same weight.
