I noticed the contradictions myself- the part of about the liver tablets didn't make a lot of sense.

A lot of the old 'gurus' that were around in the 60's have some seriously warped ideas about nutrition. Ginger ale and half and half? Yeah, thats a big secret for putting on weight. Oh and who can forget the two meals a day of steak and eggs. You go ahead and try those out.

Pretty damn good for the times.....who remembers his "ask Vince" column in Musclemag where he bitched at everybody that sent in a question??

You cant trust a person that is anti-squats. According to vince: leg extensions > squats..... any of his info I take with a grain of salt.

Just because they didnt have the awesome supps we have today doesnt mean they have to be ignorant and eat some retarded crap like raw eggs and heavy cream. He looked the way he did because of genetics. Im sure if he had trained and ate properly then he would have looked even better.

a man ahead of his time and very misundertood because he did not have social skills whatsoever...e-mail larry scott or anyone else that is still around that trained with vince and they will tell you the same thing about him...

I admit there are afew ideas of vince's that most of us wont agree, but the majority of what he says is great and his knowledge was definetly before his time.
Also he is not the only guy who is anti squats. There are aew greats including Bob Chic.

Obviously he knew something about training as he had several well known at the time clients that he got in great shape. Go back to your 4 whey shakes a day, oats, NO-Xplode and show us what a real bodybuilder looks like lol....
