Jym Post
Hey all. So I notice that Jim is coming out with a new product very soon.
Word is that it will be coming out in Oct
Jym Post
What are your thoughts on this. Me personally I am excited to try this out, as I have loved Pre Jym

Not a fan of glutamine or fastcarbs in dat dere anabolic window.
Although betaine & LCLT is nice.
5.3 grams!!! of Bioperine? wooohoooo
-
I really liked pre-jym as well, but I like protein in my post workout supps, seems like he tried to save some money leaving that out, personally I feel like companies seem to be doing away with carb based post workouts. That's just my opinion, I love that he is doing full panel disclosure of ingredients though.

looks solid.. BUT
what i dont like:
- 20 servings..
- Active portion: 19,71gr
sum up all ingedients: 23.3gr ?¿? sorcery going on here?
-
He truly does use proper amounts of things, but I wish he would've used maltodextrin or something that wasn't just pure sugar, and there's no protein? Probably going to be spendy as fuark too.
No issues with Pre Jym though, I love that stuff.

I am guessing the bioperine is supposed to be in mg's.
Overall, I like the profile a lot (couldn't care less about glutamine though) and it's obvious that it was designed to compliment the dosages of certain ingredients in Pre JYM.
Speaking of which, I am a week or two into using Pre JYM and it's becoming more and more apparent that it doesn't just look good on paper. I'll have a formal review up once I near the end of my tub but let's just say you get what you pay for.

Doesn't seem like a Jim Stoppani product would leave protein out to save money especially with the full doses in Pre Jym. I don't know the reason for leaving out the protein but it seems like a silly ingredient to leave out if his intention was to indeed cut cost. Just my opinion. :)
Edit: Could be he is planning to release a protein powder product?

Yes he did state in a video on youtube that a protein powder would be coming.
I can only assume with this new product we are going to see, two different scoops.
Lets hope he does another contest to see what people think before release.
-
I don't see the need for protein in the product- studies have shown the effects of bcaas, especially leucine in terms of protein synthesis...I actually like the profile, it covers all the basics, and makes for a hell of a good stack with pre-jym
I'd trust Jym Stopanni, I think he knows what he's doing

Is that Bioperine dose correct?
-
That bioperine dose is dangerous.
-
lol @ Dextrose. brb, premium for corn sugar.
And I don't see the need for the creatine, the BA, and the glutamine.

See my post above. Based on the summation of ingredients and their amounts, it's all but guaranteed to be a typo.

5.3mg would make more sense.

Still poor on their behalf, they should at least look over their labels before releasing them.
-
Oh why theres a dextrose? I feel bad he put it ingreients, it alwyays bloat me and that dextrose is a cheap.

I do agree, that dosage does seem a little high. Could be a typo. Pre Jym has 5 mg.
I sent a message to Jim. Maybe he will reply and give us some info on this.
-
I really like Pre Jym's formula. Not as big of a fan of this.
-
Can't wait to see his protein tho
-
Can't wait to see his protein tho
Ya I agree, I can only assume the protein will be good.
-
Loved his pre, I'll think about this, prolly won't tho

Can't see how his protein would be any different then the others out there except for taste
-
I'd only use this as an Intra. For post the profile doesn't suit what i prefer, otherwise pretty much the betaine and LCLT are the only highlights.
-

He'll probably add some other random sh*t into it that won't be necessary.

Immediate post workout is the ideal time for simple carbs (sugar), even candy does the trick if one can stomach it, so I'm happy with that (albeit 30g is on the high side)... and the protein I'd just add to JYM Post as it is essential post workout. Not sure why he didn't include protein, but I bet he'll recommend to take his new protein along side with the JYM Post. I even mix a scoop of protein with Pre JYM now anyways.
Looking forward to it!
