They're called Rock Rings by a climbing company called Metolious. They are a bit like a hangboard (like climbing holds) that you hitch over a bar. I use them for my grip, but they have the benefit of dropping the hight of the bar so I can do pullups without smacking my head. They're not a gym essential, but a nice little extra.

your gym looks like a place where you seriously lift, followed by pain & then grow. And when your done- you can pet a nice dog. Nothing wrong with that. nice setup for sure.
Thanks very much Grumpytude, nothing sterile about my gym, its looks exactly as I like a gym to look, but ultimatly, its a place of work and suffering.
Thanks very much for the reps, mine are on recharge at the moment but I always rep back to good people.
good looking gym, everyone needs a good dog!

Irongrandpa- nice stuff you go there, big fan of the Legend stuff.
thanks, i didn't realize how well built they are until i picked these up, they ended up being free after flipping other equipment that came with the legend pieces. grumpytude, you 've got a really nice gym yourself. if the opportunity comes up , i'd like a lat pulldown like yours, but for now the one on the bs smith works well and i can add wt. plates on the top plate if 210lbs. isn't enough.

free Legend stuff- not too shabby. I like the lat pull down- no complaints. I would have liked the Legend piece- but its too damn big to get in the house. But I'm happy with BS pro piece. I can do tons of stuff on it. I like the smith machine you have by BS too, wish I had the room for it though. I do like the fact you can add a weight stack on the back and also weight horns for more weight.
it's worked out well, we have limited space. the weight room is full ,1/2 of the garage is full & the hyper. ext ,bike and treadmill are in the family room.
ProteinandIron: what an awesome collection of grip strength equipment you have.
I'd love to get into grip, especially after I broke my hand a year ago - it hasn't been right since and it's affecting my other lifts.
If I had the space, I'd have a home gym in a second!

Nice selection of stuff you have. It must be good to have a suana and inversion table is useful after squats too.
That Sauna is awesome...I want one. Is it an IR sauna?

the precor stretch trainer helps too. thats the thing that the seat folds back to the ground. i also have a leg stretcher downstairs. i know its a cardio room but i have a jacob's ladder downstairs (cause it wouldn't fit up the stairs. guess thats good couldn't have fit everything in there lol) and a stepper machine too, not to mention my boxing stuff :). i'm going to get one of the foam back roller things for stretching too :).
That Sauna is awesome...I want one. Is it an IR sauna?
yup it is its a clearlight infrared sauna. still paying on it but i got 12 months free financing no interest so i just make 12 payments. got like 7 payments left of 225 lol :). lifetime warranty on everything though! thats the best part :).
