If you drink water then it's entirely likely.
i sometimes have heard the same thing not while doing crunches though.
Probably just too much fluid in your body.
i discovered this when i was about 10 i think, and common sense told me that it was indeed the fluids i had recently drunk moving around in my stomach

If by liquid supplements you mean water then yeah, it happens. Even if we don't always hear it.
If you hear it, its most likely because there is a lot more fluids in your body than solids (food).
If you dont have much solids you will hear the fluids easily but normally you dont because there are solids it mixes with.
