This made me laugh. No college student is honestly in class 24/7... I eat in between my classes in the eve and the morning. Why do you think you should be eating 6meals a day anyway?
If you really believe you need protein every so many hours just take some nuts a long to class and a protein shake.
Not 1 bit....IF/lean gains/whatever the f you guys call it CAN work for some people...IMO women and guys cutting on low cals. Athlete's, competitive bodybuilder's, people who take their workout's very serious should be eating more then 1-2 meals a day
One of the many problems with your various posts is that you clearly don't what IF/Lean Gains is, as it doesn't require or specify 1 to 2 meals.
Your overall point is along the right lines, and sort of sits with what IIFYM is about i guess but what you said in bold ... it's disproven. It is in no way better directly to your body composition. it is only better if the individual prefers it to his/her schedule.
I wasn't suggesting that it was true that 6 meals were better than 2 or 3.....I was simply trying to hammer home the point that EVEN if it was slightly better.....the tradeoff of quality of life versus what that marginal difference would be, would not be worth it.

well time to neg that brotato...

Not a single response to any of my posts, I just logic'd your ass

I promote/preach more then just changing your body composition....what about health? Where has that gone? No one seems to care about that anymore just as long as I "hit my macros and micros BRO". Stupid.....People who are concerned about health and dont wanna consume a bunch of crap preservatives, simple sugars, food additives etc etc, dont wanna hear about IIFYM.
this guy usually eats 2 meals a day, is natty, and is most likely stronger/leaner than you (inb4 you say you're natty)
he also probably doesn't hate his life because he drinks, eats cheesecake and doesn't only eat bro foods
^ Interestingly, another supplement company agent's perspective.
OP: Do you see the pattern? There's the scientific approach, which says one thing, and then it's the folks trying to sell you stuff that are saying something totally different.
Which do you believe?
not trying to sell anything I have friends that do IIFYM and have great results so far this is what is working for me, more then one way to do things IMO

Intermittent Fasting, seriously. It works wonders with my college schedule and I've been seeing more progress with IF/Leangains than I have with any other eating style or meal frequency.

I assume you'd stink if you carried tuna with you all day.
you manage your macros and calorie intake as well?
yea I do, however I tend to use denser higher fiber foods I feel it keeps me fuller longer just because I have a huge appetite, so say 50 carbs from oats, I feel would keep me a bit more full then say 50 grams of carbs from lucky charms so to speak.
Everyone who wants gains should count macros IMO but the OP was just asking for opinions he didn't really want to get bashed or flooded with just hit your numbers meal timing and frequency is irrelevant, different things work for different people , I feel just try things out until you see what works best

Sounds like you also use IIFYM, being that you're tracking and hitting your macros. Contrary to popular belief, IIFYM does not inherently mean the total disregard for satiety, gym performance, or the preferential aspects of dieting that keep adherence high.

Man this thread is still going? The truth is ^^^texicus^^^ at 5'10 and only 156 pounds, why are you bashing on others that are far more superior in bodybuilding than you. I can honestly say, you seem to be missing a few meals a day in your diet. No disrespect meant. I am one that would not enjoy eating 4k worth of food in only two meals. I don’t enjoy being bloated and over full. When I spread my meals out I don’t feel this way. The OP was not asking anything about 2 meals a day. "Most" of everyone that is serious about growing mass will not even conceder this.

there's a bikini competitor who I have class with and she brings a simple cooler lunch box on days when she has long hours of back-to-back classes. Seems to work for her.
So the hundreds of thousands of top athletes and bodybuilders or even everyday people who go to the gym and eat 5-6 small meals a day and get fantastic results are all doing it wrong? Silly ritualistic behaviors? Lol. Show me 1 guy weighing over 160lbs in contest shape who does IF or eats 2 meals a day.... U won't see them!
many top athletes and especially bodybuilders are injecting themselves with insane levels of hormones. When you **** with the bodies chemistry you need to do things that natural lifters and athletes don't need too.
Okay, what is the reason you need to eat 5-6 times a day? I'd like to know why, so could you please enlighten me?
He's on the sauce. What his body needs is completely different to what the majority of the populace need.

I think the most amusing thing in here is 500-600 grams of protein a day. Hope he has kidney transplant money ready.
These guy's automatically bust on these newbie's that are trying to improve their life by eating healthy....they come here and the first thing these guys say is "eat cinnabon's and pop tarts as long as it fit's your macro's". What if they binge eat? Would they be more tempted to binge on Reese's cups and pop tarts or broccoli and sweet potato's? If they are cutting which one's will keep them full longer? Will eating 5 small meals a day and controlling their hunger be better or eating 2 meals a day and have them STARVING between meals and more likely to binge? I can go for hours on the subject.
personally i find eating tiny meals often leaves me hungrier than fasting and consuming bigger meals in my eating window.
Who would've thought getting your body used to going without food for a while would reduce hunger and binges...
-
I go to the cafe 2-3 times a day, I have a protein shake, and about 2-4 protein bars every day.. more concerned about hitting my protein requirements everyday so when I do go to the cafe it's about 5-8 chicken breasts and some brown rice and a banana or broccoli but rarely

Who is supporting Rog and twice as muscualr as say, Lee D for example? Jeffy? A 32yr old 177lb? You? 6'5 and 187lbs?
If Ronnie Coleman said he got big because he drank his own urine, would you believe this to be true, or simply put it down to the fact he was on celltech and ate at a caloric surplus and lifted weights?
