Have you read animal farm?
I just ask because despite all of your complaining about how evil and malicious our comrade TAAB is, you are doing the most remarkable job of becoming him.
Hey lookit that, less than 1k posts until the next rant.

Some of us are more equal than others.
True story.
Does that mess with your mofo logic?
Cell phone policy:
Cell phones may not be turned on or used by students while in the building. If they are out during school hours, they will be taken up.
1st offense - Parent may come up to the school to get the phone, free of charge.
2nd offense - Student or parent may get the phone back for a charge of $15.
3rd offense - Phone can be picked up at the end of the semester.
Girl has phone taken up in class. At the end of the day, she comes to the office to call her mother to come and pick the phone up. No answer. Calls again, no answer. Repeat 20-25 min. Calls again. Finally!
"Mom, my phone got taken up and I can only get it back without having to pay if you come up here and get it."
"Be there in five minutes."
Five minutes later...
Woman walks in, disheveled. Hair mussed, no bra, t-shirt on inside out.
"Mom, what's wrong with you?"
Hesitation...
"Girl, I was... busy."
Office staff partakes in a round of bertstares.

Watch it.
7min30sec video about a topic that's been bashed to death.
Doubt it'll change anyone's mind.
I still want one of those sweetass Rhino revolvers.
Thanks, Obama.

But...watch it?
I think it's worth watching, if nothing else, to see certain political figures reacting in the crowd at certain parts of his speech
Watch it.
It was a good speech though, I must admit.
Watched before I posted. I thought the strongest point was reminding people that the 2nd amendment was to protect people from the government. Very credible, even though I feel that the fear of our government becoming a malevolent dictator themselves, is a slippery slope.
Also, analogizing victims to violent criminals as leopards to gazelles is less accurate than just saying that a bigger gazelle would be attacking a smaller gazelle who's horns had been taking away. He could have said the bigger gazelle had illegally required horns that it acquired on the black market.

I thought it was good. And that 'strongest point' is the single biggest point, I feel, that there is to be made right now. The current administration wants to convince people the Bill of Rights is about hunting, and not about limiting the powers of the federal government and protecting the Rights of the people from the government. The Second Amendment is not about hunting. Not. At. All.
True, leopards and gazelles is perhaps too far apart. But then again, let's face it, when a healthy, physically fit, strong, fighting/violence experienced young adult male attacks a single unarmed female, or anything else similar to that in terms of disparity of force, it may as well be leopard and a gazelle. Actually, I think the gazelle stands a better chance (escape-ability due to speed and agility)

I do know that when coyotes are being hunted by wolves, they often fare well when they are around hilly areas. Coyotes are more prone to zig-zagging while wolves have a higher top-speed and get tired on the short sprints up and down the hill.
For the matter concerning, I don't really like it when politicians use analogies, unless those analogies are very synonymous. It's obviously an introduction to a more properly articulated speech, but it's just too childish. He could have done better if he even just started out with Amanda's incident.

Analogies can be very difficult to actually use without muddying up your point or getting lost on a sidetrack, I think. Often good for a laugh though.
I like this one: Participating in a gun buyback is like having yourself castrated because you believe the neighbors have too many kids. :D

Unfortunately it was just an average Joe on Youtube filming himself against a green screen in his living room who like the rest of us is at the mercy of real politicians who are useless and completely detached from the real world.
They are chauffeured around, live in gated communities, earn far more money than the majority of people they're making decisions for so why would they care what happens to everyday people who are assaulted/murdered? They live in a vacuum.

Pretty much.
And to top it all off, as if their vastly different lifestyle and privileges didn't already separate them enough from us, it's quite common for the legislature to pass laws that expressly do not apply to them, or only apply to them.

I remember making sure it was a CNN site to avoid Safari viruses. In the midst of reading the article, I wondered if I was reading the onion. I have no idea what I was supposed to get out of that story. Lol@ the picture.
Lol'ed hard for a second time after reading that pic. I'm not sure if there's something I'm supposed to get, but it's really funny.

I think it is just taken at face value.
It is the "drunken panda" version of the corny pick up line, "If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put "U" and "I" together."
