Which is better for someone who is cutting?
I've been buying the "...in water" versions because water sounds healthier than water.
Should I switch or stay with what I am doing?

i used the in water version. I didn't need the extra cals from the oils since i was getting my efa's elsewhere.
Tuna in water is better. Yeah, you need some fat in your diet, but use fresh flax oil instead of eating the old vegetable oil that the tuna in oil comes in.
indeed, buy it in brine or water, and then add your own oil (olive oil, flax seed oil).
btw congrats on your cutting ;)

Bump
I prefer tuna in olive oil, otherwise it is just too difficult to eat. I only eat 1 can a day at most so that extra calorie isn't an issue for me.
side note id like to share, look around for tips on how tomake tuna better, i jus tried tuna with hot sauce like 10 min ago and i thought it was pretty good and an acceptable change from jus making a sandwich
