Is one better than the other or is it basically the same? I was thinking of going with sci-fit bcaa powder or optimum bcaa 1000 caps.

I think the biggest difference is the amount for each. 1 scoop = 5 grams
100000000000 pills = 5 grams :)
ha i just noticed that i think ill go with the powder
Remember, BCAA's don't taste that great, so go with a flavored version. Ideally one that can mix in one of your protein drinks during your workout.

^^^ agreed. You can get flavoring from C N W or you could just use crystal light or SF kool aid. Another option is purchasing a preflavored BCAA powder.

Yeah thats basically the big difference, and also you can sip on powder during a workout.

Alright, I just got my NOW BCAA powder yesterday and it tastes straight up like battery acid (at least what I would imagine battery acid would taste like). I nievely tried to mix it with half a cup of soy milk (my preferred mixing elixir), and I nearly threw up. I figured I could mask it within my protein shake (ON 100% Gold Whey, Creatine, Soy Milk), but the stuff (BCAA) was so strong that it converted my chocolate milk tasting shake into some stale minty crap. I don't know what C N W or SF kool aid is, so does anyone have any ideas how I can take this junk. I can probably learn to stomach the shake, but I was thinking of mixing the BCAA with some grape or orange juice prior to my workout. Any thoughts/suggestions?
Most recommendations call for 1.5 grams 3x per day. I am currently taking ******** (VitaminShoppe brand) that are 1200 mg L-luecine, 600 mg L-lsoleucine and 600 mg L-Valine. The L-luecine is the main component here and this puts be me close to daily recommendations.
Not getting as much as powders but don't have to deal with the bad taste.
Xtend is a really good powder BCAA supplement check out the reviews on it you will here nothing but good.

sf=sugar free. sugar free kool aid is quite easy to find at any grocery store.
has anyone tried mixing it with gatorade? I ran out of cell mass, and started using Magnitude before AND after my workouts. Its working good for gains, but i can feel the loss of the bcaa and glutamine benefits, so i wanted to get some bcaa to mix in with my magnitude creatine/powder gatorade Post workout shake. Will the gatorade and flavored creatine do a pretty good job of killing the taste?

It could, its worth a try.
i'm using Animal Nitro :) its alot of pills but it's handy ;Þ
I mix my BCAA and glutamine in my gatorade and it does a really good job of masking the flavour. The Gatorade doesn't taste as good, but it's still not all that bad

Sugar Free Kool Aid or C N W with alot of water. Check your pms
I prefer the BCAA Powder. When dieting for a bodybuilding show, I usually have 3 grams BCAA and 1 Gram HMB with every protein shake
