you're really saying doesn't know how to display his physique?

i didnt say that , i said hes an amazing poser ... in this SPECIFIC pose phil takes it because he displays more through his posing ... look at phils torso there compared to kais . phil looks way more dense because he hits the pose 100%!
it seems i may have rustled some jimmies, they both have unreal physiques and both have certain body parts that edge each other out.
Backs used to win conests, now its forearms.
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Kai = a lot of mass on a big frame
Phil = a lot of mass on a medium (maybe even small) frame
That's why Phil wins.
Another thing...background color means everything when looking at pictures. Phil looks bigger against a dark background next to Kai. Why? Phil is lighter and "pops" more against a dark background. Now, look at Sheru. Kai pops more. Why? He's darker and it's a lighter background. This isn't as apparent to judges because they actually look up when judging. Background really doesn't matter. Plus, real world perspective > pictures.
In the end, Phil looks more impressive simply because he packs a lot of muscle onto a small frame.

That's a ridiculously over simplistic way of looking at it, fact is they each have there strong points and each win certain poses other each other, IMO very little to choose between them but I had kai winning just.
Agree with your comment on the background colour, makes a huge difference and is almost always overlooked.

Of course there's more to it than that. They're so close that's what it really comes down to. Both have have small weaknesses. However, not many. That's why they're #1 and #2. What I said IS the crux of it and has been said by actual IFBB judges.
