I liked the Blue Rasperry. I thinks it's better without the artificial coloring or flavors.
I tried the grape...it was total disappoint.
Neither flavor was impressive and it doesn't mix clear.
Not happy with my purchase.

Same here. I also have the unflavored and it's pretty gross as well. I guess technically unflavored doesn't mean tasteless.

Sounds like it's not overpowering with flavor and similar to bulk bcaa and water, with a slight flavor. Might have to give this a try now after reading the response, as things that good taste reviews on here are usually powders that have enough chemicals to burn holes in rubber.

ICE by XF has a nice light flavor.
I have both, as I do enjoy the modern BCAA's , the tasta of Xtend is unmatched. But then again the modern BCAA's arent artificially flavored.

Is it just me or does the Unflavored Taste absolutely HORRIBLE! I put two scoops in 20oz of water, and OMG! It was the worst thing ive EVER tasted. Anyone else have the same problem?
i love it, mixes clear in second for me.

BCAA's taste like crap. Unflavored means there is no flavoring added, not that they removed the flavor from the BCAA's. It's not that confusing. Just like unflavored whey still has the taste of whey and unflavored gasoline still tastes like gasoline.
It definitely failed to live up to the expectations set by the previous standard-bearer, Rocko's Modern Life.

We improved on the Grape Flavoring and the WBR flavoring. Once you cleanse your taste buds of the strong artificial flavoring it's used too. the Natural refreshing taste free of dyes will be just that refreshing.
These sold out faster then anticipated...Why companies use dyes are beyond my comprehension. we are not selling fruit loops to 8 year old kids.

I'd give ON AmiNO energy a try , though it does have caffeine.. this is based on taste.. which is awesome! .. I wanted to try the modern bcaa but it was a bit pricey ...
I actually enjoy the two flavors over Xtend I've tried, it's too overpowering, sickly sweet.

if you looking for taste then go with xtend other than that anything is better than bulk IMO. some ADDED FLAVOR is better than the taste of bulk.. I havent tasted mordern yet. but i have had purple wrath, xtend, lg sciences and gncs powder aminos. Sometimes I think xtend has to much flavor
