thought maybe like 28-32 or something would be the mean even then....

Training and operational experience brah.

These guys would still have the fitness of a 20 year old due to years of military conditioning.

No 18-25 tear old would have the operational experience to keep their cool while raiding a compound containing bin laden. It would shake even the most cool headed youngster, these guys would have been the best of the best.

Absolute cream of the crop of the warrior fraternity.

Would love to see a video of the team that killed Osama in action. Not actually the night they killed him--other videos that show what they can do.

I knew a member of Seal Team 12 and he was 36 years old and on active duty.

38 is old?

Don't forget the elite soldier types are supposedly genetically superior normal individuals. Forgot the name of the show where they tested them but they excel under adverse circumstances.

NAVY seals dont just have the best training in the world, they also have the best genetics in the world. if you see a 38 years old seal, youll probably think he is 30 or something. im loling at 28. 28 is the average age of a captain in the army and captain rank sucks.

Is there a SEAL Team 12? Never heard of it...

edit: i guess there is, based out of coronado thats why I havent heard of it

my best friends dad is an ex-SEAL. He is now 41, and is in better shape/condition than almost anyone I personally know. Ive never seen a 41 year old with a six pack, and he is like 190-210 lbs.

Back when I was in high school we used to box, for fun, one time. Learned my lesson, had a fat lip for like a week.

My Scuba Diving instructor was a Navy Seal. Had a bunch of great stories and now he owns a Scuba shop (Fitting for him). He said he's spent almost an entire year of his life underwater.

I don't know alot about the military, but I thought the elite forces would want men with no families back at home so that they would focus entirely on the mission and have nothing to lose?

hate how people act like as soon as you are over 22 you are old

If you take care of yourself you are honestly young until 50

Isn't it actually SBT-12 (Special Boat Team 12) based in Coronado but commanded by NSWG4 in Little Creek?

SEAL Teams 1,3,5,7 are also based in Coronado with NSWG1.

Yeah you're right, don't know too much about the SWCC stuff, I grew up in Virginia Beach so I'm only really familiar w/ the SEAL teams based out of Little Creek.
