what you said doesn't make any sense. i've done reasearch in low carb diets. the way they work is that when you stop eating carbs your body switches over to ketosis. when it does this it doesn't use energy from the carbs for energy, instead it uses fat stores and fat and protein you take in. your body actually burns more fat then if you were starving yourself. my reccomendation is that you start off without any carbs then slowly start eating things like fruits and veggies (leave out pasta and other refined carbs like bread)
My bf% is about 20%
