nice to see a lot of intelligent, strong women for a change!
I remember dieting down for my first bbing comp last year. a big boobied co-worker of mine had the nerve to tell me, and I quote, "I was talking to Noreen about you and how you have no boobs anymore. And it's just not right for a woman not to have boobs!" And I thought to myself, breasts don't make the woman....the woman makes the woman! She should have said that at a strides against breast cancer rally....I'm sure it would've gone over quite well!
A male co-worker said I looked manly...now mind you, I work in a warehouse full of 50-60-somthings (age has nothing to do with it...they are just about all over-weight and miserable) and it seems they all look forward to the donuts when they arrive. So to that I said...."Buddy, I am more manly than you'll ever be and more woman than you'll ever have....and at least my 6pack doesn't come with pull-off tabs beer farts!"
If ever during your quest for health and fitness, you find adversity from your fellow-person, remember it is not YOU they are angry with...its themselves for not having the will, strength, discipline, courage, motivation, drive, and hunger to do what you are doing. Misery loves company and I am just not in the mood those kinds of guests!
