Trutein vs Syntha-6
Been using Trutein for a while now and like it but hear alot about Synth-6...
which should I go with next?
my gut is saying Trutein because of the carbohydrates and fat in the syntha-6, not because I dont need those, but because with carbs and fat in a protein powder that is just more "powder" that isnt protein powder
-
Syntha is a decent enough product (especially if bulking due to more calories then most) but I'd stick with Trutein for a real blend.
-
I've never personally had Syntha-6, but when I am choosing a protein powder, I typically like the ones that have a higher amount of protein and less fats/carbs for the calories. Since I am using it to supplement my protein intake, and would rather save the extra calories for whole foods.
Plus, we just released a couple new flavors, with one more on the way ;)
-
Personally I prefer Trutein due to taste and macros, but Syntha-6 does have some unique flavors; pick the one that fits you needs and price range since both are good products.

How do you like the Trutein taste wise?
I've been using syntha 6 & the only reason i stuck to it is for the taste.

O rly? Tell me more...
On topic OP, I like leaner proteins as well, and trutein nails the flavouring, I have several tubs. I however do have a tub of Syntha 6 Caramel Latte kicking around the house for when I want more of an MRP.
-
Sounds like it's time to try a new flavor of Trutein. Have you experienced Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry? The last tubs of the flavor that we will ever see are at bb.com, so I would pounce at the chance to try it if you haven't tasted it yet. Speaking of pouncing, I have stocked up myself and I have more pounds of the flavor than the weight of this cat:

That cat looks better in the arms of Anderson Cooper:

I like Trutein better then Syntha-6. Taste better, thicker shakes.

Haha yes, that's the paw on the right leg. I have no valid reason for incorporating that cat into a conversation about protein.
-
Holy sh!t it is his paw...
topic may now return to Trutein goodness

pEACHHHHHHHHHHH MANGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Both taste good one has a better nutritional profile.
-
Syntha 6 taste is hard to beat imo.
-
I'm using both right now and Syntha-6 wins hands down for taste. It has more carbs and fat though so it's not a surprise. If you can fit it in your macros then yea no competition.

How about MP Combat Powder? Syntha-6 is expensive and the added calories are from dextrose and sunflower oil.
