What's Worse Cigar vs. Cigarette?
Got into a conversation with my roommate about which is worse, he smokes cigarette's and me being a cigar smoker myself, he insisted that cigar's were worse. Sure, I only smoke 2, maybe 3 cigars a month, pending the season. But a person who smokes cigarettes will often smoke more. I do not inhale my cigar smoke, I don't know anyone that does, therefore, the fact that they have no filter in a cigar is completely moot. Nicotine is a nature chemical in tobacco, so you get that either way, but when you inhale the cigarette smoke, you absorb it much more rapidly. The slight amount of natural nicotine in the tobacco doesn't really come into play all that much when you don't inhale. And because cigars are all natural tobacco, they don't have any of the added nicotine or carcinogens that the cigarettes have. In short, cigars really aren't all that bad for you, but curious what anyone else thought?
And don't post stupid things like smoking is bad and kills. I know that, but more concerned with health side effects and such.
